I read somewhere that they would actually ban people from XBL if they used the glitch. Anyone want to confirm that or not? If it's true, it's pretty damn harsh.

Truly actions worth of a medal of honor, right? That's probably my real legit problem with this, there aren't any actually hugely motivating, honorable stories to tell in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. The absolute best real life scenarios have all been terrorist leaders captured without killing. There's pretty much no good videogame sections you could make based on these situations that wouldn't be just blindly shooting brown people holding AKs. I hope you are kidding and\or is not aware of missions done in Iraq\Afghanistan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Red_Wing Any National Geographic documentary from Iraq\Afghanistan on Special Forces etc. If you just search a bit, you end up realizing that there are tons of very interesting successful, failed or just general missions. It's not all about training the ANA or Iraqi army, or guarding the local burgerking (which PMCs do, amog VIP protection and other boring "railshooter" type scenarios).

Use that, with lightweight, marathon and commando, with a pistol with knife attachment, and you can't loose. I have like 200 more losses than wins, because I always quit servers due to lag. Not a problem for me imo, since I don't care about the stats. But what annoys me, is when a server is good until like 4000 points, then some bitch ass sister (of the host) goes on youtube and fucks it all up. What do to, get the additional 2k xp or leave with whatever you got?

Even on a TV, you might want a different FOV depending on the distance from your monitor to you. It should be a mandatory feature in both PC and console games.

Generation Kill: Modern Warfare 2. It's like they watched the series, switched Marines for Rangers, and made a video game. I mean, the start is pretty much the same as the battle of Nasiriyah.

HTDM is pretty much CTDM (campers team deathmatch), very, very, very hard to actually find a game where people play, instead of laying on the ground. Negative. USAF dudes always paint their breathing system. And skulls are bad ass. As for another "skull" facemask, take a look at the intro of "Hard Times", US Rangers wearing "skull" bandanas.

On the "sail pole" (god knows what it's real name is), it's burning on the crossbeam, but the vertical part is flame-free. Since flames move upward, they would be climbing the vertical pole. A small detail, but then again, that's what you probably need to fix.

What's up with the SP .exe file not being able to launch? Every time I want to play SP or SO I have to delete my SP .exe file, then validate Steam crap (takes 10 min), then I can play... God this is annoying. (MP works, and all other games on Steam)

Rumor on the web: Hackers are able to send trojans etc. via. IW.net to other players. Quite a few threads on mw2 forums about people getting virus from playing the game. If true = OH GAWD.

Just finished Alpha section of Spec Ops on Veteran with a friend, good stuff. The bridge was too easy IMO compared to other Alpha levels.

I don't know how they know it doesn't trigger a vac ban since VAC is doing delayed bans. Exactly. That's the scary part. It's also pretty nice since you are able to nail a lot of cheaters at the same time, the downside is that you have to live with cheaters until VAC kicks in. But it sure looks like good FFA mayhem, I'd imagine Rust would be kickass for that. Quarry > HATE. I'm sorry, but I cannot like that map, mostly because there are unlimited amount of places for campers.

Currently the most played game on Steam atm. (YES OVER CS AND CSS), it should IMO be impossible to ignore PC gamers and their wishes. But what do I know, I cannot find any stats for XBL and MW2.

To the new search system: No games found with less than 50, 60, 70, 80. It usually find a game around 90-100. If anyone IMO thinks this is a better system that the "old" one, I suggest that you check up on that again. Even now, with an "peak" of 80K players online! A quick check with TF2, there are several servers with +12 people playing that run at less than 50 ms.. :ssj:

Thank you. Will have to check that out. Checked it out, quite scary. In 5 games, at the most I had 8 bars, average of 4, and on the last 2 FFA everyone had 2 bars except for the host.

I have the same experience and impression as this guy, unfortunately. Might improve when Steam releases, but for now, it's a real lottery if you end up on a playable server or not. But SP is a blast, but god damn it's hard!
