I was matched up with 3 swedes and we did it on Hard, as my first complete run.
But insane requires a level a bit higher than 8

Doesn't that make a mapcore project even more possible? Where everyone can just make a single room (with phils textures of course) and then they are set up in whatever way the generator feels like.
If I understood how that editor works...

Sounds like fun, except that I suck at everything :roll:Let's use PhillipK's sci-fi textures and do a mini Mapcore comp OR co-op projectQUICK SOMEONE ORGANIZE IT
I must enter a time machine and go back to before I let go, and get ultra skilled so that when monday comes, I'm up to date with you guys!

This is awesome, the dev diary is also great and explains a lot of things!
I kinda wish there was a fullsized game somewhere

Marcos, you worked in CSS in 2008 right? Cause if not, you have a twin with the same name, same looks, same present workplace and from the same city.
And that would be

$884, but I rarely play on my computer, it's only FPS games and some RTS games which I play with friends.

Is this a full game or something for XBL and PSN?

I don't understand twitter, it has to be the most pointless thing ever...
Just think of it as ultra-condensed blogs. If you follow people who're boring it sucks; if you follow people like celebrities, developers, and band members it can be very interesting.
Of course I'd rather read full-blown blogs by celebrities, developers, and band members — but most of them can't be bothered with that.
I use it more like a portal to get all the cool news that I would normally miss, ie. I only click links that people (or "websites") post. Also, since I follow a lot of people which have a lot of the same interests as me, they often retweet stuff that also interests me.
It's worth a try at least.

Why isnt there a mapcore mod
?It's an indie game that Spellbinder made, or someone else. It was in EOT at least.
BUT THERE SHOULD BE A NEW MAPCORE GAME.

WTF is going on here?

From the GT pop-block I'd say it is:
Call of Duty: Assassins Creed Timemachine Used For Modern Warfare Purpose
Or COD: ACTUFMWP for short.

I am 100% serious, which is the worst part. A lot of the skate forums are also full of people that are pissed on the bugged grinding\sliding in Hardcore so I am not alone on this. Why I want the core mechanics to be changed is because I want a more realistic game, rather than the same old stuff that most of us skate nerds have perfected a long time ago. I did not expect them to do new animations, because they didn't do it in Skate 2, but I am paying full price for a "new" game which in theory isn't new, is bugging me a bit. It's like selling a new car with an old engine in it.Are you guys serious? Did you even play the demo?st0lve - Skate 2 came out january 2009, this is coming out one year and half after it. The core mechanic was already pretty good in skate 2, so why try to fix something that isn't broken? Did you really expect they would redo all animations and stuff? Maybe for a next gen game but not for this gen, doesn't make much sense tbh.
But as I said, I'll get the game, primarily to get a new city, if they fix the bugs in Hardcore that would be good as well, but my hopes aren't that high.
As for the series, just look at THPS ratings from the start, they milked it too far, and I expect Skate to go in exactly the same direction, which is a shame..
Rick, T:S&D is da boooomb nigga, best game evr.

It's too much of the same IMO. Hardcore is ok, but flips are still too easy, and grinding is too bugged (in the demo at least, tons of videos on youtube that show it). I'd rather see a more realistic system which required you to catch flips and such instead of underflips and darkslides.. I have my fears that they get sucked too much into the arcade direction which will fail them (TONY HAWK AM I RITE?).
I'll get it, because I play Skate and Skate 2 on a weekly basis, and I want a new city. But if I wasn't skating, I wouldn't spend $50 on a game that basicially is reusing 90% of the core mechanics as well as a lot of animations and art...
Edit:
Also EA Nation not working properly with a router (uploading clips, downloading stuff and playing online without problems) is a big downside for me. I have had problems with it since release day of Skate, and contacted EA on several occasions with them being unable of providing me with a fix that actually works...

Wait. Who is suing who?

Awesome idea!

WHY DOES I HAVE MY XBOX AT HOME? I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!
It looks so much better than all the other SC games I've played. As he said in the review, "DA which you probably didn't finish" made me giggle like a girl, because it's true

Yay double post but whatever:
Where the hell do I put my custom textures? PKs show up but as black and pink checkers, so I guess they are in the wrong folder...
