  1. Can you make and sell 3D models? With the current amount of 3D printers people are always buying cool/cleaver designs for minor stuff to print at home. Not sure if it can ever come close to an actual income (I haven't checked what models go for) though. It also seems like there is a market for freelance 3d designers for board game models etc. Not sure about how it differs from models in games but I guess it still pays.

Can do you visualizations for architecture firms? I would guess that there is tons of money in that, but also time consuming.

  2. I was biking on my single speed bike, pedaling like crazy and my rear wheel locked in some cobble stone, so basically I pulled my rear wheel slightly out of the dropout and the chain popped off. Foot slipped off in front of the pedal and I kinda crashed into my own leg sending me flying over the handlebars. All in a split second.

  3. I broke my wrist 6 weeks ago and had surgery, got 11 screws in that sucker. Which also mean that I've been off work for 6 weeks and it's been driving me crazy. Doing my final check-up on monday, hoping that it healed up nicely and that I can properly start my physio and get back into some sort of shape again.

X-rays in the spoiler in case anyone is too sensitive to that kinda stuff.

Oh and I'm trying to by an apartment. Not enjoyable to be honest.

  4. What did I post here the last time? Let's start in May where I had a great vacation in Copenhagen with some friends from Vancouver and it was a blast. After that summer have been all kinds of shitty. I messed up my shoulder and couldn't work for pretty much all of June and some of July, then I was sick a ton in August so I've barely worked, which means my little brand isn't doing too good. It's also fucking depressing to work from home and I've been even more stoked on a proper fulltime job since then.

Had an interview today at a company which is probably one of very few companies that I want to work for, and I think it went great in my opinion anyway. So hopefully I'll get that job and can become more of an adult very soon. Or just dive deeper into the shit if I don't get it. So I have to get it.

Oh and you guys who employ freelancers of any kind and don't pay their invoice on time? Go fuck yourself. You're fucking with peoples salary and I hope you get hit by a car for doing so.

  5. The problem with their google search is that they find the same source as they originally got the false news from...

The Swedish Gov. even put out an article talking about migration and crime (http://www.government.se/articles/2017/02/facts-about-migration-and-crime-in-sweden), but if you post that as your evidence they will shoot you down because it's all produced by the evil gubbernments. Here in Norway, when you read comments on FB on anything related to immigrants or refugees, they have taken over the country, especially Oslo and rape everyone. Except that I live in one of the "worst" areas (according to these clowns) and people don't get raped on a daily basis nor are people afraid of going out of their homes...

  6. Oh man this "getting a job" thing turned out to be fucking hard or maybe I'm just unlucky. Anyway, I'm really bummed out at the moment due to not having anything to do during the day.. Skateboarding, yoga and climbing is fairly limited in terms of how long you can do it so I spend a lot of time doing nothing. Uhhg.

Going to Munich next week to a huge apparel trade show, my dad was going anyway and he figured that I might improve my chances at getting a job if I do. I'm not sure but I like trade shows so at least I'll get to see tons of cool product.

  7. I quit my job in Vancouver and moved back to Norway because I wasn't happy with my job. It had bothered me for a while and I wasn't able to find anything else and my work permit was running out so I'd be less attractive for new employers anyway so I just pulled the plug, which also means that I left a bunch of great friends and this really rad woman even though our relationship wasn't anything serious. Currently I am funemployed but more like just unemployed because I don't have too much money saved up. I do have a couple of solid leads, 2 of them in the outerwear industry where I'd want to work and the other one is for a company that makes military drones where I am completely under qualified but they somehow invited me to an interview even though my application was honest and 3 days after the deadline...

I just hope I won't be unemployed for too long, not working is almost as bad as working a shitty job.

  8. You're right Tisky, it sucks and it is hard, but it's just not worth the gamble and emotional hardship you're putting on yourself. Friechamp is right on the money.

My only advice would be to find a new social activity where you can meet new people. There is never a guarantee that you'll meet women, but new friends with a mutual hobby is always a great way to expand your social network and get away from whatever connection you have to someone who's bad for you.

  9. I got scabies from a chick on Tinder early this year. 0/10 do not recommend. I met one cool girl, but she was in an open relationship that I wasn't down with. Then there was a fully insane girl. And finally there was this girl who was really good at taking photos of herself and then looking nothing like them.

To meet girls when I'm drunk is still the best way. I'm done with any sort of dating app.

  10. I think it looks cool, but why on earth are some terrorists risking their lives to blow up an embassy that has already been blown to pieces? In most cases, if anyone would blow up the rest of it, it would be the embassy security to make sure that none of their secret documents got into the hands of other people. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to be honest..

That being said, I think the theme would be an absolutely amazing hostage map, but you're probably a bit too into the development to easily change it around.
