  2. If there is as much Fragile Alliance in this as there looks to be, then it certainly is something I will consider buying. Also, pretty good job on remaking Warby's bridge map, it looks very close the original.

  3. Polish scam. You're gonna pay 1$ and not get anything in return except a discount on game you weren't interested in to begin with, but maybe you are now since you've invested 1$ and you gotta protect that investment by shelling out the rest of the price for it, right?

  4. Doing anything at all is often seen as the biggest mistake anybody can do on the internet.

    - Release a beta, people get upset the beta is not polished/a free version of the final game.

    - Don't release a beta, people get upset that things aren't as they were in the good old days, when every game had a 128 player enabled fully stable multiplayer beta 6 months prior to release.

    I've already posted the sewer one, but it's cool to be able to see all three at one time. All the scenes are made from the same base, which can be seen here :

    It's for an article I'm writing, so they won't be released (I think!?)

    None of the scenes are 100% done, but I think I've got a good base, so I'll spend an hour or two more on each to add some details and tweak lighting. The industrial one is especially barren.

  6. most of what has been written about game design is very much from academic point of view, and as such i CANNOT recommend much. i think the closest thing you have to something like reading up on it would be the MDA framework (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDA_framework); however take into account that even this is a product of subjective value judgments and not in any way something objective.

    Urrgggghhh, it's like dissecting a clown to see what makes him fun.
