Uh. I don't think you get the purpose of the site, mate.
-
And I replied

Well, the thing is if I paid for two months I would of been offered the *BONUS* Section meaning it would give you the download to all the textures, like 19 gigs. The trouble was thought it was an extra $13.50 and I didn't want to.

Bump, for it's on the frontpage, just incase anyone missed it.

I just recently subscribed to a website, http://www.environment-textures.com
Pretty much its a large, popular, photo-resource site for 2d/3d artwork. It's pretty well known in the modding world from what I've seen. Basically I'm willing to share my access, but I don't want to go posting it freely here, so send a private message asking me. Just a few quick notes.
1) Don't give out the access to your mod or other friends, please.
2) The site only has 30 days, starting from the day I post this, left on it. Meaning after 30 days I lose access on that account, so I recommend saving just about everything you can in the time given.
3) It's my cash, and I don't have to give you access. I make the choice, but likely anyone is welcomed to it as long as you've been respectful.
Thanks!

It ran perfect on mine, all full high-settings, but I have a fairly good computer. Once in awhile during transitions into different areas (I guess zones of the entire place) I'd get a quit lag spike then it'd change. But other than that it was great.
And ferret sucks, mad mike.. wow.. just wow.

Well okay, I pretty much spent the majority of the day trying this out again. I think theres a ton of potentional and interest in the game, but theres a few flaws.
Pros:
-I think the characters look badass! They're something right out of the movie Mad Max, very cyberpunk and apocalyptic, the only trouble is I never.. see my character. Just his vechile. Or atleast for what I've gotten to.
-It's alot like Red Faction, everything is just about breakable and can shoot down buildings and guardrails and everything. It makes the environment a lot more interactive for the player.
-It's original. Atleast for what I can remember there hasn't been any such MMO like this in the past.
Cons:
(These all might be because of the demo?)
-I can't turn in quests a lot of the time. I get them, and I collected 4 oils and when I return to the person it doesn't allow me to turn them in. It says press to talk. I do. Nothing happeans. Kinda led me to a few stops and wasted time.
-Where exactly is all the upgrades? I've reached level 5 and all the merchants and sales people I've discovered only sell level 2 items. Maybe I'm not searchin' high enough areas?
-A lot of times, I might get disconnected from the server, dont' know why. But when I return it resets all my quests, yet still I remain with the cash I've already earned from them before.
-I just don't get the whole NPC talking thing still. A bunch keep saying Press to talk to this guy. And nothing works when you do press X.
Overall, I mightttttt consider getting the game if it's free. (Monthly cost, not the game itself).

We'll need Izuno to bust this myth.

WHAT THE FUCK FERRET?
MAD MAX

It's alright, I mean it's enjoyable, but I agree with St0lve. I'm not a big fan of MMOs, so I'd doubt I'd go out and buy it.

I think what is really needed is some type on interior right there. What would be grand is if you could create some type of model for a longtable. With fancy narrow chairs about it. And make the tabletop surface reflective, would look awesome.

I just wanted a larger brick wall. It's more fitting to a design of a mod.curman i really like it, the moss rules... but the stones are hugeI don't see the connction between bricksize and design of a mod

Uh. I meant it like. ...Dude piss off. Nah, just kidding. Just, the architecture of the buildings required a bigger size bricks/stone walls like these. That's all.

I actually just desaturated it after I posted it and looked at it for awhile.

It doesn't tile that greatly
I'm gonna try to cover the tile line up more. -
edited: updated a little repost~

C&C welcome

You should do something about the repetitiveness on the side there

I was going to mention the same, it seems a little redudant. Perhaps you could chip the edges of the pillars, make it look aged like ruins. :0

Cause. Postman rules? Not only that, but Postman's project is an MMO not just limited to a modification. It's likely going to benefit more.
-
No offense at all. But pratically half those links redirect me to Imageshack. And if you're actually going be to be a dedicated studio or modification it's best to atleast get webspace for hosting like that. It looks sorta bad to always use Imageshack.

vivi, add a lighting please. i can see shit
ingame there is a colordifference to the environment of 20 in RGB values. enlight the scene, please! It's for a zombie mod, so it's a tad more fitting dark like that.
But I don't think a flare, or some figure of a light source would hurt the scene, either.
-
yeah, i just kept forgetting to add beforehand the lostcoast folder/
thanks!
-
Whats the exact location for that? Cause I'm fairly sure I did. I added the whole prop_monastery folder (contains all the models + physics and whatnot). I added them there but none of them loaded in. :I
-
Let's say I want to move certain models over featured in Half-life 2: Lost Coast and place them into a Counter-Strike source map. How would I go by doing this?
I used GCFScrape it extract the folder of the models, but I can't place them physically into the .cfg for CS:S. So, any help?
