Did you really liked the graphics? seems like something was borked for me, since I had expected graphics par with EP2 or something

Finally I got this beast downloaded (the line was clogged yesterday) I'm kinda disappointed. The action was there, no doubt about that, but the dialog was messy (since I hardly heard what they said) and the graphic wasn't what I had expected. No next-gen here (I had all at high basically) but it still didn't look any better then COD2 (almost worse). I'm a huge fan of the series and I know graphic isn't everything but this wase't what I expected. It looks better on the screenshots somehow

First (when the demo had loaded like 50%) I was like "Oh right, Far Cry graphics my ass" but after seeing and walking around Its not that far from Far Cry really, sure its a lot difference but being a browser game is certainly impressed me. Makes me wonder when handhelds should be able to do this

Here's my 2 side of the coin! I've never written anything bad about Valve and this isn't a exception. The story is good (sometimes I can't understand cause they use "hard" english words) the graphical updates are nice, The achivments are nice (but like the other dude said, can "ruin" the game play a little) Overall I'm really satisfied with EP2. A little short maybe and I would like less underworld levels next time. Portal was nice too, a little easier then I expected but I can see user made maps soon being downloadable. I noticed that they included a lot more humor in this episode then in any HL game before. While I love humor and loved it in game I can have a hard time when its in "serious" games and movies (like Terminator 3). Anyway Its a masterpiece like everything else that leaves Valve's office. I didn't understood if they attached the data Alyx have gathered on the Rocket tho. If not, why couldn't they launched it before Gordon and Alyx got there? And did you guys saw the brain D0g threw out of the Strider? Coool

I'm with the positive thinkers on this one, I love office spaces with a lot of detail (Not Doom3). Not much to say, the end off the clip was really cool.

Browsed gametrailers.com and saw a little trailer for a game called "A Stroke Of Fate". The trailer (didn't showed any ingame footage) looked pretty "Russian cheap game" and when lookin' at the page (which has an awesome url btw) I realized that this isn't a game thats gonna get sell record. A game that looks that nice and haven't got a proper hype looks dangerous

I think this is quite embarrassing, Its not like the game (from what I've seen) have much to do with sex, girls or playboy but more guns, bloods and killing. The competition is prolly gonna be a success tho since girls does everything to be "the girl next door" but stuff like these belongs on XXX site IMO

I remember going into #mapcore and gather around people for some fun hours of the (leaked if i rember correctly) Soldier of Fortune 2 demo. The Soldier of Fortune series have been good (altho I haven´t finished any of them) and with todays capabilities the 3rd installment could be a sucess....but Looks like the gonna rush a product that no one even heard about and not next year or holiday season, nope November 21st is the date. Thanks Normy, that looks like a good rigg, I like the chassi alot . Have you any experience in building computers? Whats with the Duo core and not quad? and what do you other guys think of this? Anything missing ? It sounds risky just to buy stuff like that so more opinions would be helpfull edit: I have mouse, speakers and monitor that I'm happy with. I pretty much use my comp for playing, handeling all my photos (big files) and fiddling with Photoshop & Illustrator.
