This years Christmas mascot for my work is "Supertomten" (Supersanta) which my sister have created. We had an idea of making something nice and animated for our web page and got some influence from disney (swedish people will know what imean). Thanks, but are photos like flickr really free? I don't wanna use someones face and then get sued to the moon. How is it to scan photos from a school catalog, is it free to use (with good taste off course) or does the photographer earn the rights to the photos even if you scanned the photo? btw: by nerd imean photos like this http://www.bergsjo.nu/bilder/msoftis.jpg and this http://www.strangepersons.com/images/content/115268.JPG not thoose dressed up nerds.

Hey I wonder were I can find pretty high quality photos of "nerds" and "geeks" (think Bill Gates mug shoot or Ben Stiller in "about mary") The photos would be used on products such as dishrags, cups or notebooks therefor it must be legal to use them and not be any copyright. I don't know were to find them or if its legal to ask you guys to scan some in from some old high school book (to ask is legal, but is it to use them?) Any tips or ideas? btw i searched some photosites but then its just guys dressed as nerds and it isn't as funny as a real one. Help please!

I agree with Curman, take BIA for example. They hired a ex military guy to get it as realistic and made you use real life tactics to win the game (prolly wrong game to blame in mapcore ) The difference from me and Jack "Shit" Thompson is that I don't blame the games for buying that gun and shooting that people, it's the 2 eyes behind the screen that does that. What I'm saying is that games can work as a inspiration source but so does everything else (Playboy makes boys worship the paintbrush while advertisement makes girls believe boys have 6 pack brown short hair and a perfect smile) And another great inspiration is the newspaper the coming days. I believe that games CAN infact have something to do with it, but so can movies, music, tv-shows and even books. I mean it's easier to get the thoughts after playing it, seeing it, hearing it or even reading it but don't get me wrong, I also believe there is a huge difference in blaming games as the cause of practically raising the kid, buying the gun and pulling the trigger, there have after all been mass murderers and psycho's long before games. So as a inspiration, sure we can blame games, but then don't forget that any other seeing, hearing or reading experience whenever or not it's theater, movies, music, street violence ya basically anything can also be held for this. And to make the formula complete, mix it all with one not so very healthy brain.

Offcourse games didn't do it, but did they bring up the thoughts?

The TV show compared this to the things going on in countries like Africa and stuff were they cut of womens clitoris. Apparently there is a huge amount of nerve endings in the foreskin and cutting off such thing can never be wise. Does it have something to do with US and its religion?

Ok, despite the somewhat humoristic title I would like this tread to stay serious. I watched "Bullshit" on tv some days ago and the topic was circumcision. It quite chocked me that over 60% (if I'm not wrong) boys in the US are circumstanced. They interviewed girls who never been with an un-circumstanced man and just the thought of it was in their eyes grouse. Some nutjob claimed that it reduced the risk of HIV and other STD, but the opposite side said it was vice versa (since the skin protects). I just wonder if it's really that usual in the US and what your thoughts are about it (and off course if you are or not). (They showed some video of a kid and the device they used to hold him down in, and that remind me of some 1700 torture device)

It looks ok, but i think COD2 looked better (the ones i remembered) The ground is flat with no shadows from the bodies (4th pic) and well the lighting isn't that good, still MP beta on xbox 360 is ace and I will get this game no matter what, I just wonder if I shall go for PC or 360 version, (prolly 360 cause It's funnier with MP there I think, still PC version is cheaper)
