Of course not, its the concept.. they all had. Modern Warfare. And as Duffy mentioned earlier the games wouldnt be the same if they were taken on to a "whole new level EX. Virtual Reality" Well unfortunatly.. none of these mods took it there. And from what I have read about your mod, its like you guys are moving Desert Combat to the Source Engine. It might take a little level up.. but its not going to be anything new and exciting. Now Duffy also mentioned that Modern Warfare games have a huge fanbase. A great counter to this comment would be Natural Selection. It has a huge fan base and it worked. Day of Defeat, it worked... and neither of the two are modern warfare. I wouldnt mind seeing a WW2 mod again. And I sure as hell would love to see a futuristic warfare game, maybe even aliens if planned well. But im just extremely tired of seeing modern warfare, its not just that it is every other game thats a modern warfare game. Ghost Recon, Desert Crisis, Battflied 2, Men of Valor, all the mods out there that involving modern warfare. But its also waking up, turning on the news and seeing modern warfare. Its an honest "lets move on" feeling. Now these comments are not to offend the artist, because the work is great. But i rather see the astonishing work put into a different theme then modern warfare.

Front Line Force = boo Move IN! = not out Hostile intent = meh Firearms = boo Desert Crisis = never played it.. never will. Anyone see a patern here? I would really like to see something different from the HL2 mod community. To many modern warfare mods. I like to see more Project Hull type mods. Or maybe some kungfu mod. who knows. Well to start off, I work at Quiznos.. the "mmmm... toasty" gourmet submarine sandwich place.. I work close to everyday.. and i used to work friday and saturday nights.. untill i told my manager that if he doesnt change my times.. I will walk away in the middle of a rush and scream. So now i work saturday and sunday mornings. But honestly i meet some of the dumbest, most oblivious people at my job.. One time i gave this chick a free drink and she goes "Are you being rude?" I literally looked around the resturant and started laughing at her. It what really sucks is that everyone loves our subs.. so i never get a break, theres always one person in-line.. always. I wear a stupid hat that spreads my hair making me look like boozo the clown. My collieges are a 26 year old african american man, that stills plays dungeons and dragons.. and doesnt have a licsence. 2 korean owners 1 cant speak english, the other is actually alright. Then the worst.. would be the Spanish people who can not speak a word of english.. the only understand whats on the menu. So when im closing with them.... i cant talk to them I always seem to be trying to start a convo with a customer. But the only good day i have ever had was when Tommyd came in for a visit. He can vouche for me on all of this. well thats about it. Someone come here and take me to amsterdam for a month.

Agreed, make it just a bit darker and you will be golden... it looks like you through ur map in the oven for a bit to long.

Hmm, im not I really like the blue lighting it really is bright and bring out ur simple architecture in that area, maybe tone it down? I think my favorite shot would be the last one, I would like to see more of the areas look like that. Your NS maps usually come out to look very bright glowy spots... on the floor. Try the walls, and maybe light the cieling better than the floor. I would like to see more variation.

Looking nice, but like others said, its missing the wow factor, its missing the exceptional detail.... keep trying man.

Wow, being so close to washington dc. This is almost disturbingly true. The fact are all there, I checked the news papers from 9/12/01 and the movie is correct. Its just really strange.

The lighting in my opinion is very bland. You really need a mix of colors, and think about the theme before you start deciding which colors to use. The brush work is looking pretty decent but as others said, height variation.
