  14. HDR will be applied to HL2 singleplayer levels, the new "lost coast" level. Nothing else at this point. Modders are able to use this new tech when its released but it wont be applied to HL2DM, CS:S etc at this point... Oh and. Everyone gets the so called "download link" to HDR level, it just doesnt show the effects for low-end users.

  18. Yes, they should look like this but not play like this. JAL is right, you have some problems with VIS in this map. I ran around and got pretty bad fps in few spots. And its not my machine that makes it run so crap (AMD64 3500+, Radeon X800 Pro, 1gb ram). In this shots theres nothing fancy going on but the fps was so bad, budgetpanel showed that world rendering is at max. You might want to use more detail brushes to clean up those splitting brushes. Also use some better vis blocking etc. Anyway, the map looks good and with some optimization it could be better

  23. I know what causes your problem. You're using textures that are used in static props (models). Make sure you dont have any textures used in Hammer that contains words "props_" or "model_" etc. These textures are located in ie. "props_combine/combinewall" etc. Concerning the map itself; Looks cool! In this pic tho: http://www.eliabramovich.com/coast/coast3.jpg Use displacement maps for the broken walls and floors, cheaper and looks better.
  24. Is there possibility to play regular single player missions in co-op mode or are there specific co-op levels built for it?
