Reminds me of Argentan. I like the colors, but is anyone else feeling that the color palette is getting a little old? The map looks like it is solidly put together, I hope the layout is to boot.

What settings in your batchfiles are you guys using? Custom tools? share your thoughts.

I'm hoping that they're focusing on gameplay first, visuals later, which is the key to any good game. Make sure you have a functional and fun system, and when you do art the shit out of it while maintaining that functional and fun system. Of course the hard part is getting that system.

Thats a sweet looking map albatross. Where'd you get that kind of reference?

I think a bunch of managers figured this would be more efficient and implemented the system without taking the artistic things into account. If a single task is fragmentated into too many different people and even entire departments then thats bad for the consistency of the world and the workflow of the designers (they have to run back and forth between two groups all the time, or wait for the other one to finish)
That scares me the most is the inconsistencies in creating the level.

You have an insane of polies put into the "shade rack" thing on the back. It really serves no purpose for the silloueghete of the model (forgive the spelling). I'd suggest utilizing a normal map for that.
