  2. its all 90 degrees. If you took like at least one building and rotated it 45 degrees the atmosphere would improve 10fold. More color and less harsh shadows would also improve your overall look. The textures seem to match where you're going with it so nice job.

  4. base texture window texture I am aware the frosting doesn't repeat. I'll fix that tommorow after work. The candy will have overlays over them for glowing effects. Everything in the texture has a seperate layer incase I need it as a standalone texture. suggestions?

  9. THe contest are maps based on a defining Theme. They will be judged on how well they meet that theme along with the usual brushwork, texturing, lighting, ect. crackerjack I dont understand what you mean by harry potter. So explain yoruself quickly cause I'm making light fixtures as we speak
  10. ol its an easy fix. Once it explodes you need to duplicate that, rotate 90 degrees and carve one more time. It'll solve your problems.
  11. the architecture is still there, just the lighting isn't helping it atm. give it time to grow. ANd as OL said, the angles aren't the best. another couple of shots I really dont like how this one is turning out. I like the window but the blue is too dominant and the water is not transparent. I will tone down the blue so its just hinted, and increase the orange dominance while highlighting key features like the bed and dresser. this is an update on the environmental sky value. I like this better.
  12. This is pre-alpha version. This just shows it off ingame with minimal lighting. This is the first compiled version. Also the sky is temporary until I find an acceptable one. Please enjoy.

  14. that is a LOT better than your previous map. It lacks the walls of cornering that your other map had that made it so unbelievable. The contrasting orange lighting just makes it look eery imo. What light value did you use for the sky? It was really well done and put together. Congrats on a sucess!

  16. updated the picture. Converted it back to polygonal cause I like it better that way. I played with the foreheads and eyes a little. Feedback appreciated.

  20. The handle grip curves is a little high poly, if you take some polies and through them into more of the jagged wide side of the grip then it would look cleaner. You have a lot of polies placed in places that could be put other places, if you know what I mean lol
  21. duffy is not the smartest bunch of the fucktards.
