  1. Howdy Sirs!

I haven't posted here in quite some time, but I though I'd share some of the stuff I've been working on lately. Not so much gaming stuff, but photography and storytelling with Storehouse.

I hope you'll find these as a source of inspiration :)

  2. Looks retro in a good way.

I can see that you really tweaked the lighting settings -- it's far from dull. The lighting contrast looks unrealistic though. It's like each light inside is powered by the sun :)

Since it's a warehouse, it's dusty. This gives you some opportunities to play with light rays even more than you currently have.

In the second last image, there are some lockers on the right with an odd tilt. Is the top part metal or concrete?

  3. Thanks. Well I spent 5 months in Australia, 4 months living in Sydney, so I had time to explore. I can post a photo of the opera house if you want :)

I visited the following places: Sydney, Blue Mountains, Byron Bay, Nimbin, Brisbane, Rainbow Beach, Fraser Island, Noosa, Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Cairns, Port Douglas (Yawn), Cape Tribulation, Great Barrier Reef, Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Alice Springs, Uluru, King's Canyon, Kata Tjuta, Perth, Rottnest Island, Fremantle, and some random places near Sydney.

Sigh, I wish I could get kangaroo meat on a regular basis again.

  4. Looks familiar: the Routeburn track :) All my photos failed miserably from that place. The insane contrast in light was killing me and my camera. Either the clouds and glacier got overexposed and burnt or the dark cliffs got underexposed, or both. Damn it was challenging to say the least! Looks like you did a good job capturing most of the tones.

  5. Thanks sirs!

I literally took thousands of photos and hundreds of them failed due to poor camera settings or a dirty lens. It's just damn hard to have the right settings at the right moment so I'm still learning the basics. Raw is a life savior though -- something that took way too long for me to realize.

On a side note, it's incredible how so many animals are just chilling and posing for you in Australia. I had no luck with kangaroos though.

    /me pets min0~

  6. Any day would be good. How many months will it take? Just because Firefox is not exposed it does not mean that it's ok to spread malicious code that has probably infected countless potential, new users.

I guess noone gives a shit anymore. Okthxbye mapcore.

  7. I've been annoyed by the slow pace ever since I started investigating the source of the problem. That was over a month ago. As I said previously, this is really, really embarrassing for mapcore and bad for its image.
