Be sure to link to the CS.net forum thread if/when you make one. It was fun watching elitists and moderators say how shocked and appalled they were by satanchrist because it violated Christian beliefs, whilst having less religious imagery and defilement that well-known popular commercial games like Silent Hill or Doom, and order the thread closed so the thread files down the page and out of view by being pummelled by the still-popular dust clones and good-looking maps without any game play prowess at all – although obviously this won’t warrant such a big whineathon because, y’know, it’s Iraq.

Lets take a fast-paced unrealistic game were you capture glowing flags, constantly respawn and throw yourself around a maze using grenades; and make it realistic! Surely a recipe for success!

I posted it on IRC, it may as well go here too.

Great, they're looking for someone to pussy-whip

I know; I'm looking forward to it, despite only having seen 5 screenshots. And me getting excited about a game after only seeing a tiny bit of media typically only happens with Square games (although they then disappoint and cause me to shake my fist at the sky cursing God (who may, or may not, exist)).

Yeah, I guess it depends on several things. I liked Rainbow Six and that was super realistic, but it was also squad based and tactical: much like BIA is said to be. I guess it's mainly the single player rambo fests I get bored with, becuase being rambo when you can't dodge fire and die super fast is kinda irritating.
Also: more <3 less h8.

I never said realism couldn't be fun at all, just most of the single player realism games I've played are more luck-fests and/or giant scripted sequences filled with random death.
Also: I can't even find that quote.

A console that acts like PC's and attracts PC developers instead of console developers, WE CAN BUT DREAM.

That's the rumour.

I feel dorky for having carried this out, yet along commenting on it, but: This is horseshit. Don't get me wrong, I'd hit it (she has a pulse, right?):

But look at the accurate findings it encountered.
The choices you made in the test suggest you have strong, automatic preferences for certain types of women. You made your choices quickly suggesting you have clear physical instincts. A variety of features stood out as important to you. This report explores these features in detail. To start, look at the list of features below that were most common among the women you liked. These "turn ons" were noted in different combinations across many of your choices.Gee wizz! What did you find, what did you find!?
Your photo choices suggest a woman over 25 is probably getting a little old for your tastesYou seemed interested in dating a woman at least 25 or olderWow, you're right!

You know, with all the BILLIONS OF YEARS RESEARCH or whateverthefuck they claimed to have pumped into this thing, they'd find me 6 results that didn't completely conflict each other with yet another questionare asking me if they got it right.

I just hope to God it isn't one of those war games where you need to abuse quicksave and quickload every other step. And your entire fate for most fire-fights is decided by the code's random seed value, used to generate the accuracy cones of the enemies instant-hit, high damage weapons. And big climatic battles turn out to be one big uninteractive scripted sequence where you have to do exactly what the developer tells you to or die... to instant-hit, high damage weapons or random explosions.

If they were setting themselves up for the sequel with the final stages of the game, then they kind of fucked up big time when they gave you the decision whether to work for gman or not, no?
Is there a sixth file that reads:
"Thinking too much into this, you are, you are thinking too much into this"

Don't forget the way-over-the-top explosion sequences.

Why are the csforum people so angry?
Oh, and happy birthday

Because he said he made iceworld and that one-eyed kirby is, like, so totally gay.
You should've posted in the mapping forum, RD is reknowned their for his highly controversial map with a cross in it AND lava AND the word Satan AND Christ! Carefully ignoring the fact that even Doom had imagery 50 times worse than this, everyone had an episode about how it violated their religious beliefs and was not what they were looking for in their online shooter where terrorists kill millions in cold blood and blow things up. Moderators quickly closed the thread in the name of Christianity. He should’ve stuck to temple, back street and school maps.

If he talks it destroys the feeling that 'you' are the character, so you'd best fill the void it opens up with something cool - it's easier just to make him mute. The potential for the things he will say ultimately stems from your story; But first person shooters don't often have a lot of story, or at least have a story simple enough that your character doesn't need to ask any questions; I mean, it's either "WE'RE AT WAR, KILL STUFF" or "AN EXPERIMENT HAS GONE WRONG, KILL STUFF."
But you must commit, if he does speak, but not a lot, then he's just some boring guy that shoots stuff, because you haven't given him a character to replace the one axed out when he opened his mouth.
