I didn't say anything about 'famous' metal bands being shit, so I don't know where you got that from, I like plenty of famous metal bands, I listen to very few underground bands and the stuff I've posted is NOT underground. Because it's great, you just don't understand. Vocals don't define how good the music is, the music itself does that, if you get past the 'growly' vocals then you'll begin to appreciate the music more and in time learn to live with the vocals and let's face it, As for the 'singing', it's just like that it's not meant to be happy, Mdb are renounded for making misterable music. Download 'For My Fallen Angel', you might appreciate that more.

You're thinking of Nu-metal (which is one part I forgot to explain incidentally, bugger..). bands like Coal Chamber, Slipknot, Disturbed, POD, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Korn and the like are NOT metal and they all suck with the exception of some Korn tracks, Slipknot's latest album and Mudvayne. Alcatraz is quite a bit different from modern jails of today (well it is in The Rock anyway). I'm aware of HL2's jail, but I don't want to use that if possible for kinda obvious reasons. So far I have 'the outside gate - inside gate / prisoner transfer / cell blocks access' I'm not even sure what else would be inside, anyone been to Jail in the US here? My dad actually works as a prisoner officer here, but I doubt that it's the same in the US..

I'm, making a level set in an american jail for my mod, in single-player mode. I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for it though. Does anyone know any decent jail levels in other games I can use for a reference? I wouldn't know where to look on Google because I'm not so sure which games feature jail levels. Cheers for the help.
