The vast majority of people play World of Warcraft for the social networking aspect of it, an incredibly powerful force, and not the gameplay at all. This is kind of obvious when you think about it because not only is the gameplay dull, but it's also monotonous, uninspired, mundane and wholly fails to engage the play in any kind of meaningful action.

It is the size and variety of the game world that makes the social aspect so appealing and alluring, and not so much the artistic direction, epic world, etc. Games like Second Life have proven that being even remotely visually appealing is not a requirement as long as the size and variety is there.

If Blizzard can harness these same ingredients in its next game, it doesn't really matter what the game is as long as the theme sounds appealing to a lot of people. It's then guaranteed to be a success.

Let nobody argue with my opinion for it is correct in every single way.

Actually, I agree with this, particularly the part about SL. It's starting to become that the social aspect of online games are making the game more than the actual gameplay is, which I personally think sucks, but what can you do?

I'm usually not aware of a dream until the very end when i wake up, as Mr. Luka has said. Though I have a much more difficult problem.

Apparently the part of my brain that is used for dreams is treated sort of like a ram drive assigned the task of being a scratch disk. I can remember every single little solitary thing that happens in a dream, until I wake up. Then it's all gone except for maybe the last 5 seconds worth of events that happend.

I appear to have been stuck at school with a project on my future career, well, just so happens my future career wants to be game level designing, reguardless of the fact I can never seem to complete a map. On top of that the java IRC applet dosen't seem to want to work there.
