    I've been following his Facebook updates on the situation for the past week or so. Fuck. It 's amazing though how he still finds the funny in all this crap. This is why I love Mikey. I don't know if he's still reading this forum (which he helped create btw for those of you who don't know who he is). But Mikey, all of Mapcore is behind you!

    If a post is off-topic please just ignore it and move on, I don't want this thread turning into an argument.

    So, question. The obituary says he died at home. This doesn't sound very logical if he died from an overdose of laughing gas and painkillers. Do we know any more details?

    I'm a huge fan of the original. I love the simplicity of it and the turn-based strategy style game play.

    After watching the trailer for this new game, in my opinion,... they should not have named it XCOM. Yes, they kept SOME elements from the original (like the research stuff etc.) but from what I've seen everything else is different except for the fact that the game revolves around an alien invasion.

    I understand that from a business side it makes sense to use an already existing and very popular franchise and try to profit from the popularity and cult status it has but at the same time it makes me a little sad that they seem to have strayed so far away from what the original game was all about.

    It still looks like it's an awesome game and I will probably buy it because I'm really into this whole alien conspiracy stuff but it's too different to be called XCOM in my book.

    My first day was fucking scary. I was browsing Google Image search for some reference photos and the project manager, producer, art lead etc. were all standing behind my desk talking to some other guy. I clicked on an image and you know how Google Image Search always loads the entire site that image is on too, in addition to just the picture....well before I knew it I had about 15-20 large popups of chicks sucking cock or getting facials all over my screen. When I tried to close one it would open 3 more. I panicked and tried to close them all but they would just bring up new ones so I did the only thing I could do and hit the power switch on my computer. Nobody saw. But I nearly shat myself. :shifty:

    Just wanted to let you guys know about the first ever review score for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

    PC GAMER, gave it a 94% making it among the highest-scoring games in PC Gamer’s history.

    I think even if he does get released in 20 years he won't last long before somebody hunts *his* ass down.

    However, in his manifesto he mentioned that his main priority after getting arrested would be to try and escape from custody and launch a secondary attack with armor and weaponry he buried at another secret location.
