What kind of ship is completely round like that and causes electronic equipment to fail when you dive within 200 metres of it? This doesn't look like a shipwreck.

I think you can't really practice for being in a penalty shootout. Sure, you can practice shooting penalties...but I think the hardest part about it is the pressure and mental stress when everything depends on you not fucking up. Even the most experienced players have problems keeping their cool sometimes in this kind of situation.

This might have been the most boring game of Euro 2012 so far. I didn't think France played well at all. They showed no creativity, the passing was terrible and not precise enough, they kept losing the ball the few times that they had it. And I swear, every single time the French goalie did a goal kick he shot it so far into the spanish half that the Spanish got the ball back. He did this the entire game, did anyone else notice? Terrible game by the French. The only good player was Ribery but the rest of the team was asleep. Spain held the ball solidly but overall they didn't do a much better job at creating chances. The entire game seemed to take place in midfield with only a few good chances here and there. Pretty boring to watch :/

Yeah indeed. hehe. Although, greece wasn't really a big challenge. They didn't even really seem like they wanted to be there, nobody tried anything and they got lucky they even scored the 2 goals they did. But I won't complain I just hope Germany is ready to face a really good team in the semi final.

Video for reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JtNRU4LpDM BTW, I think using replays would be a mistake. FIFA has always stated that they don't want to lose the human side of the sport and I agree. Bad decisions are part of the sport. If they allowed video replays it would just lead to interruptions all the time because a team demands video replay for every free kick. I think you could also expect things like results being changed after a game if a team wanted to challenge a referee decision with video evidence. I say keep technology out of football and just deal with the fact that people make mistakes. Sometimes you get unlucky and sometimes others get unlucky....it is what it is.

I've played a few games in Close Quarters so far and while I like it, I don't see myself playing it very often, I prefer the wide open vehicle based maps, and if I want Close Quarters I'd honestly rather play Grand Bazaar or Seine Crossing or something like that, I feel like the CQ maps are too small and cramped for my taste. But it's fun for sure. Can't wait for Armored Kill next

Lol yeah, I was thinking about that. Pay per chapter? But then, it's still a super risky move because if you sell a game in one package you have a guaranteed sale of $60. If you release a game for free and then HOPE that people will buy enough shit in the game .... I don't know, I just can't see a lot of people spending $60 or more while already inside the game. Also, and I may be wrong about this but, in my opinion people are more likely to do a one time $60 purchase than many $5 purchases. Like if I had to pay every time I started a new chapter I would probably just quit playing and go outside and ride my bicycle or something.

I don't know but I think I find this more ridiculous than anything i've seen in soccer http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/NFL-la ... /id/441544 Like, OH SHIT I didn't know bashing my head against other guys heads over and over again for years and years can damage my brain. In other news, punching a wall can cause injury to your hand.

I wonder how you can make a single player game free to play though... im not sure this was a wise move... hmmm

Sao Paulo is fucking beautifully done in this game though. Amazing env art. I never use the cover system in this game. Bullet time and iron sights baby

Portal 2 on PS3 Move! "Wooooow" :/
-
Started playing this yesterday on PC. Fucking awesome so far Although I am disappointed with some of the visuals...
-
So, I'm guessing nothing of interest from Valve? HL3/Left4Dead3? Anything besides CS:GO?
-
Not true. The whole point of premium is that it includes all the expansion packs, you are not just paying for an early unlock. Read the official BF3 Premium website for information. (http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield3 ... um-details)

Yeah I see, but I think Premium is more geared towards the hardcore fans who know for sure that they will keep playing it until the end, and for those people it's a really good deal. I mean how else should they release additional content? It's obvious that there is a demand for it but would it make sense for them to just release all this content for free? We're talking 20 new maps and weapons and a bunch of other stuff that's not announced yet. It's a lot. I thought with $50 they found a decent middle ground for the whole batch, and for those players who aren't sure if they want all the DLCs they can always just get the ones they want as they come out. It's out on PS3 but from what I've read so far people seem to be having trouble playing CQ.

I'm still waiting for the PC release which is June 12th for Premium members.
-
yes same here, it is fcking ridiculous that i have to pay the same price as for game, just to have some new maps and shit, half of that price and i'm buying it There will be 20 (!) new maps, new game modes, new weapons, vehicles, character skins, etc. - plus you get early access to all of it. That's quite a crap load of content. Sounds like a good deal to me. Then again I play this game daily, if I only played occasionally I probably wouldn't bother either. Also, for comparison: BF 1942 was 50$ expansions 25$-30$ x2 Total cost 110$ BF2 50$ Special Forces Expansion 30$ Boosters 15$x2 Total Cost 110$ BF3 60$ Bf3 Premium $50 Total Cost 110$

Wow. Game of the show for me.
-
when is the PC release?
-
Yeah but it will pay for all the DLCs so you will probably save money compared to buying the DLCs separately. As someone who loves BF3 and plays daily this is a definite purchase for me.
