Games with janky animations usually have good gameplay, so I'm ok with that

I noticed how the city feels empty in the gameplay videos too. Hopefully it's just a matter of optimization so they can spawn more NPCs and vehicles later on in the development

Found a stash of old Insurgency mod screenshots! Lots of mapcorians worked on this (I can spot @Steppenwolf , @Erratic , @Pericolos0, @Evert, @Xanthi, @Jonny Phive... and I'm sure I'm missing some!) http://thiagoklafke.com/misc/maps/source/Insurgency/ This one is dedicated to @st0lve:

Cool progress! I've worked with both grid styles (multiples of ten or powers of two), and I prefer powers of two, because it breaks down nicely: 8 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 0.5 - 0.25 - 0.125 Whereas with 5, you get a lot of broken numbers: 5 - 2.5 - 1.25 - 0.625 etc...

The legend himself. I ran into him at the Street League in LA a few years back, super cool guy

oh man, I played the shit out of that on an emulator back then. I was pro at the game with the keyboard This really reminds me that if the basic gameplay/controls of the game is fun, the rest all falls into place.

Minos replied to Minos's topic in Level Design
Blast from the past! I took some time to make a trailer for this, was lots of fun to edit Fun fact: The logo animation was made in Unity by my friend Roger Sodre (creator of cs_rio). And the logo was designed by @Thurnip Gumroad DL: www.gumroad.com/unreal4environments Cubebrush DL: www.cubebrush.co/thiagoklafke -

99% of Those Who Died From Virus Had Other Illness, Italy Says The Rome-based institute has examined medical records of about 18% of the country’s coronavirus fatalities, finding that just three victims, or 0.8% of the total, had no previous pathology. Almost half of the victims suffered from at least three prior illnesses and about a fourth had either one or two previous conditions. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-18/99-of-those-who-died-from-virus-had-other-illness-italy-says

Cool pics! Last week I had a case of cabin fever and had to go for a walk on the bike path near where I live (it has a lot of bushes, trees, a small creek etc...). It was a Wednesday afternoon and I had never seen it so crowded before, so many families and couples walking around. Was a bit surreal. I went to Laguna Beach on Saturday and saw many people acting like nothing is happening, playing volleyball and basketbal, waiting in a long line for milk shakes... While I appreciated we could go to the beach and enjoy a nice walk on a sunny day, I also don't believe that authorities will allow that to happen much longer...
