  1. Oh and for those that complain of its obvious consoley feel, I've tried both the PC and 360 version and I honestly think the 360 plays better. Even though you sometimes have to point you view very carefully to pick up a small item then it works really well. The PC is obviously better in this, but I found the menus horrible to navigate, where as they're freaking fast when you're used to them on the 360.

Console menus horrible to navigate on a PC but fine on a 360? Fancy that! Dunno why they couldn't give PC users the option to customise it without mods.

I think PC users have a right to complain, it is obviously imo an interface designed for console use and why they haven't given pc users an alternate mode or something that takes advantage of the pc is beyond me.

I hate to use the words dying etc when it comes to PCs but if we keep getting console stuff that isn't suited to the pc (some stuff works fine) there will be problems ahead, the pc just needs a little tlc, you're not limited to 10 or so buttons on a joypad, you've got a keyboard and mouse, lemme use it!

(thank god for the 12 item inventory)

so far, a fine game let down by some stuff, including menu and level scaling.

  2. bad If advertisement goes too far as in MegaMan having Nike shoes or SuperMario using a Nokia phone etc. it's not ok.

If the game calls for the character using a phone and that happens to look like a certain model or has a Nokia texture, that's okay. maybe not for sonic but maybe the sims, or a game where your phone is a tool /inventory item etc.. if the character says 'Oh no, my Nokia model number xxxx is ringing!' then it's bad :P

  3. fahrenheit / indigo prophecy is pretty good (euro / us name)

Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango are probably Lucasarts last two good adventure games (Escape from Monkey Island came after, either a love or hate it sequel though really.)

BONE is OK (very short and kinda rough, done by previous Lucasarts employees though)

then there's more recent ones, varying quality though and someone like thrik might be able to name some ¬¬

  4. I don't see the point in sports games, it's all about what you can't do in real life for me so playing football on a console game just seems pointless when you can just go down the park and play for real...

You could go buy a gun and go on a rampage, but you choose not to, i'm terrible at tennis but pretty good at virtua tennis. can i not play that? why must games be limited to certain things? because you don't understand something someone else likes?
