my system.. 2.6ghz intel xeon, 9800xt, 1.5gb ... i think i could push it some more but thats what it suggested (i put AA on tho )

i hate sterile looking labs like ctswins. if i had a choice i would have my lcd monitor with woodpanels and everything else would blend into a nice natural type environment...or just hidden all together.

well, it is IBM so they make us keep it that way, from the hallway, the floor is raised, and theres a majorly cool purple light it looks really good when you have to stay late..

our office bit is a bit more customised and we have those big ball chair things and every so often play football out in the grounds of the house (i'll explain in a moment) with them

This is the house, the main bulk of the IBM offices are to the right / back while the house does have some stuff in there... lots of grounds, a cricket pitch, a football pitch

it's a lot bigger than the picture shows, and my office is just down the hall.. see if i can find a pic

1 floor above us, through a reinforced floor, theres this.. (however ours doesnt have the cool shark fin, and ours is wired better )

As an IBM employee, i will also say IBM does some good laptops, ofcourse, i get mine free but ...

Any idea how my PC will cope? i'm guessing pretty well as we wont play it at its best for a year or so?

Can't say i'm overly excited, sure i'll play it but i'm more looking forward to HL2, BIA, FEAR and bloodlines.
