I don't rememeber doom having a story. Also I'm not liking all these games that are like Look im so dark that you need to hav a flashlight highlighting my bump mapping every step of the way. i hate having to strain to see wtf is going on (aka AvP).

I dunno maybe its best that instead of mucking around with the press all day and night putting out press releases they are acctually working in the game *gasp* so there might just be a good reason for all this silence from valve. (mostly random guess and most likeley not true)
