Rumors and all, I know, but to be honest then it wouldn't surprise me that Activision would pursue this kind of action. Haha, true Mazy. Remember what they did to the Guitar Hero franchise...had about 3-4 games a year.

Offline? lol Anyway, this game delivers. The radar still scares the shit out of me, and i'm a grown up now. Well at least I used to think my father was a grown up when he was my age. D3 still refuses to have his gaming PC on the internet I agree hkon, i'm going through the marine campaign at the moment and find it pretty scary. I love the Alien franchise and while there have been a couple of bad films, this game so far has stuck to the original films roots. The AI is pretty random...it's almost like they switch off when an encounter nears the end so you're left on your own.

So i'm shit . Now i'm not the best at RTS games i'll admit that...they are by far NOT my first choice in genre. But i've played 8-9 games now and only won one . I know SC is about rushing and building quickly and i do believe i'm doing this, but i'm still met with a force far superior to mine each time Help!!!!! On a side not, love all the games content, sounds, music etc.

Agreed...anyone else feel they parted with there cash a little early on the preorder I guess you're the type of gamer who'd rather buy another installment of COD: Modern Warfare than support a more decent cause and a bunch of decent developers... Actually i'm not ;o and you know that Sind, because you know me . I guess this time i'm sat on the other side, so from my perspective things look quiet. I'm so used to knowing a games campaign structure. I'm looking forward to NS2, but like all excited little gamers i want things now ;D~. I'm hoping the game release will be around the same time as Edinburgh Interactive Festival. Spoke with Charlie about it last year but nothing was ready to show.

I'll give that ago, Thank Barrakid. Just to double check, driver for the monitor i would uninstall via Device Manager and colour managerment would come under Display Props > settings > advanced > Color managment tab and delete whatever is lurking in that.

I've got a rather annoying problem. http://crazymac.net/misc/example.jpg Images pasted in or opened in adobe don't look the same as they do in say firefox. This also works the other way around, images saved in adobe don't look the same in firefox. http://www.flickr.com/photos/christufne ... 5/sizes/o/ As you can see the reds look very different when viewed in a browser then they do in photoshop (please ignore the colour settings). I have tried a hard reset of adobe (alt + ctrl + shift when opening PS) but i still get colour differences. Anyone know how i can link everything together or reset everything. It's actually a nightmare doing some work at home only to find the colours are screwed up once i get to work. (i use the same monitor at home and work) Many Thanks

Indeed, this is what i'm hoping for. I would like people to just be able to turn with a disk and demo the mods. This will depend heavily on sponsorship though. But will let you know how it goes. Screenings will go ahead whatever.

So as most of you know i work for a games pr agency. We help run the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, it's a 3 day long conference and game screenings. It's open to both industry and public folk alike. Excuse the cheesey sales video, but it will give you a better idea of what goes down and who in the industry we attract. It's been going for about 7 years now and i've been apart of it for 4 years. This will by my fifth year and after 2 years of relentless nagging i've taken over control of the games screenings. If any of you have games coming out towards the end of the year and would be interested in showing the game at EIF09 please drop me an email chris.tufnell@bhpr.co.uk Even if you don't have a game to show off, the conference would be a perfect place to ram new technology and ideas into the face of some big names....or just come for the social side I'm also hoping to get a small area setup for mods to show of their stuff. More on this soon though.
