  1. st0lve: Nah, for HL2 (aswell as Doom3) I think it works best the other way around.

Because of all the hype this games got, many bought it once it was released. I think the demo is to "convince" the ones that wasn't sure to buy it or not, that this game is hot!

Or that they wanted to get hl2 out soon as possible

  2. I blame everything on the halflife 2 texture set, it's blander than a Digestive soaked in water.

They are not in my opinion. The textures in this map looks overscaled, use 0,25 as scale! HL2 are 512x512 textures, not 256x256 as the old half-life

  3. Yeah, looking very good indeed!

I got some suggestions too. As the dam is looking now, kinda gives me the feeling that it isnt "powerfull" enough. Like there is only a pit behind it. Maybe if you make the dam broken at a place and add some water rushing out at the broken part, or add some bigass pipes in the center of the dam where water comes out it will help.

And a wooden bridge over the water (buttom) would be cool i think

  4. Wow Ferret, looking hot as allways~~

I like all the open areas as i think open combat is the real deal. Some red and green lights (just small strong ones) placed naturaly around the map could also look good. Breaking the grey and white lighting..

  5. Looks better now, but still there is something wrong with the whole feeling..

1: I cant seem to remember any place where i'v seen trashed cars parked on a parket lot :?

2: Its realy a overkill of props. It looks messy. A more clean style, adding props where it looks natural would look much better i think.

3: The lighting is booring and dosent match the skubox very well. Try going for a more organge or dark blue sunset.
