Please don't refer to me and Americans like me as "you people." I don't like to associate myself with dumbasses or dumbasses who like to associate me with them. I'm thankful that most Americans have an independent view of thinking. That's what makes democracy work, or what little we have of it left. The soviet union justified it reasoning with the communist way of thinking, that is, forcefully distribute wealth for the good of the people. Not realizing this is a completely flawed way of thinking the union fell apart. The difference between a selfish American is that is it open and honest. A communist is dishonest and hides it by using the word "people" or "we." No it should not. You may not understand this but a key point to the long standing structure of the USA is the "balance of power." This is done by dividing the goverment into different branches, executive (presidential), legislative (congress), and judiciary (jury). As well as the seperation of state power versus national power. This helps to balance voting so states like California/Texas don't run the entire country. We could rework the system to just kick Kansas, but that would be stupid. That's why the United States goverment has been primarily the same for almost 230 years now. While government structures in Europe continue to rise and fall. We ain't no fool, but we thinks you're dumb. It sucks that you, like most Europeans, are still stuck using words like "we" when most Americans like me can freely use the word I and feel no shame. I don't doubt it was unjustified excluding Turkey from the EU, but some how, I don't know, I'm just throwing this out there, I believe it's from ignoring rules and standards agreed upon ahead of time. In the case of Kansas, they did not violate any US government rules, but if we want to, we can still overturn the states decision by revising ammendents of the constitution which clarifys rules behind mixing church and state.

This is a problem over-whelming America. At one time America stood for freedom, liberation, but the way things are going we keep getting farther and farther from that due to hypocritical conservative groups using those same ideas to do just the opposite. These groups of hardcore assholes are able to stick together and lobby control in politics, while very few intelligent, sane people do the same. Imagine the conversation that took place in the mind of the intelligent design theorist. Now watch, this is the point in the conversation where the responses of the scientist are filled in by the simple mind of the theorist:

If you look at a lot of the earlier screenshots of BF2 it appears to look much better than the released game. I think what happened was Dice was expecting to release an awesome game about a year from now, however EA being their publisher quickly shut that down, made the game crappier so it can run on more current machines and so they can ship it as soon as possible.

These screenshots make me want to redo a BiA level I made only not for XBOX so I can have real texture memory to work with and abundant details. Nice ambience and feel, really looks like an old church.

The reason exclusive "texture artists" get shafted is because the people who get hired as "artists" for doing textures usually can also, UV map complex shapes, skin humans, animals, weapons, misc. objects, and understand more than just making good looking textures, and usually have a brief knowledge in 3d modeling and mapping so they can better understand how to make textures that are put to good use, easily, and look well together.

If you still have a similiar style you should try illustrator instead of photoshop

For a map called "projects" it doesn't seem very project like. The soft warm colors makes it look like a nice apartment complex I might want to live in. When I think projects I think dark, dirty, grimy, harsh lighting.

I am not harsh, I'm truthful. Would I be upset if certain people saw this? Yes but only because it would mean more work for me to motivate people to do what I want. And yes I honestly don't care.

What has levellord done again? Pretty much everyone I've worked with from the guildhall has been pathetic. We had a bunch of testers from there for a short while who were just horrible. We had a few guys involved in our SDK that could not level design to save their lives. We have a couple programmers who so far have been completely disapointing.

The tuition of most those schools are higher than a years salary for any entry level game industry job. Consider that. If you're going for animation or character design go, anything else I recommend not. In my experience everyone that comes out of game design schools for anything related to art, code, or level design have all sucked. They're the kids who weren't motivated enough to do things on their own, pushed by their parents in a desperate attempt to make their suckbag children decent human beings. Much like the kids who are forced to be lawyers or doctors who end up sucking at life and getting people killed. Probably how Jack Thompson came to be known. Or not... really depends on the person. Don't be afraid to change your mind if you end up not liking the school. Code, go to a regular college and mod on the side. Level Design, ditto. Art is questionable, depends on what kind of art you want to do. And anyone that possibly could be considered a game designer worthy of learning from isn't going to be teaching at any school.

So in 10 years on Earth someone accelerating close to the speed of light can experience 1. In 11 mins someone can experience what appears to be a minute, but not more than 11 minutes. Unless of course the world around the person increased in velocity. Anyways, if relativity did apply to the thought process, if someones mind became more active, time would go by faster. If someone was a retard, time would seem to take forever but would actually be no more than 11 minutes. Anyways, I liked the story regardless
