ok guys so well i had a really cool idea to make a map like in world war one where there are trenches and you fight in between them and rush thru no mans land and stuff so i tried to make my first trench first i made a brush that would be the shape of it but then when i tried to carve it (so that it would go into the ground and make a cool lookin trench) it exploded or something!!!??? can anyone please help me out with the carve tool maybe im not using it right is there a settings box for it or something?? help!!!

run scandisk, if your hard drive is fat32 you can do some tests from a boot disk also. you should defrag if that doesnt help
