Logitech Trackman Wheel to use while I'm browsing.
I'm also bored to death of my Logitech MX518 which doesn't want to die like all my other mice which died within 6-8 months. I was thinking of the Razer Deathadder / Abyssus.
Very impressive if true and possible. It would've been nice if he gave us an example of what would be needed for this to work a completely new kind of graphics card or would say, a decent dual-core processor do..?
Did it after a lot of hesitation and thinking.. going back to what I liked doing when I was in school
TREK 4300
It's soo good.. cycling after 10-12 years and some physical activity.. feels good.
If I had to start a company, I'd love the name to be unique and not sound related to other companies or games...
Sliced and Diced
Borderl(and)ess Games
Mapcore Games - love it but it would cause conflicts and confusion
Exit Strategy is different yes. Think of more damnit!
Then, next Saturday evening ~19:30 GMT? Teamspeak - http://www.goteamspeak.com
No one turned up but if we have plenty of us online at the same time, we can do it any day of the week any time! Drop in on IRC! irc://irc.gamesurge.net/mapcore
jaboo224: Short notice? You mean you don't visit Mapcore 50 times a day like we do????
Are we doing this then? Let me throw up a time - how about today (Saturday, 28th Nov) at around 19:30 GMT? Stop by on IRC or I'll post the chat server details here. Let's go with Teamspeak for today - http://www.goteamspeak.com. Download the TS2 client.
So anyway, Jynxdaddy, Zyndrome, Cybbe and myself tried Skype. It works fine but yes, we'd all prefer Teamspeak. I guess we'll only use that when we have more people interested and a server running..
Anyone can! For decent quality, you'll need some 4KB/s upload per person, say there are 10 of us, that's still manageable. Anyway, if that's a worry, we could always use Skype. Also, there are hundreds of empty public Teamspeak servers online
The point of this discussion is using voice chat to communicate and not which voice comm software we use. I'm fine with anything to be honest. Each one takes under a minute to install. I'm sure we each afford to spend that much time. Also, we don't have to limit this thing to once a month or once a week. Those who are fine with voice chat everyday can do so. We need to start somewhere... So what's it going to be? TS, Ventrillo or Skype? If we get this running, I don't mind connect today evening itself...
I've always liked the idea of voice chat (with my accent and all). We should have a weekend voice-conversation thingie. Set a time and connect to a Teamspeak server.
I say YAY. How about this weekend?
A week later, I'm going on leave after some 2 1/2 years. I'm pretty excited about it I've always wanted a DSLR. After more than 3 years of using a Sony DSC-H1, it's the latest Nikon D3000 - a very good entry-level DSLR! It's night now but I'm waiting for it to be day tomorrow so I can take some lovely snaps with it.
Oh and memory...
