  10. Watched The Baader Meinhof Complex and Captain Philips recently.. You guys should try out Trakt.tv and the apps that use the service (http://trakt.tv/downloads). The service lets you mark watched TV shows and movies, along with assigning ratings. it's something like what Last.fm is for music, and Goodreads is for books. This is my profile in case you guys already use it - http://trakt.tv/user/cyberjunkie/
  11. Reading is something I've hardly ever done. I like it, but never really did it right. So I bought a Paperwhite last month. Been reading before I fall asleep every night...

    aw yeah

You need to tie a tiny little parachute at the back and drag it along, wherever you go. On a more serious note, please take good care of yourself!
  13. You guys should definitely check out Hannibal. Anthony Bourdain's new show, Parts Unknown aired and Louis C.K's Oh My God is apparently pretty good.
  14. Geez! Completely ignored the bit about him surround sound speakers. Sorry! Didn't suggest a receiver knowing well that those would be more expensive than the speakers he bought. An external USB sound card is the best solution. I guess Zacker bought that now.
  15. Use the 3.5mm jack from the laptop and connect it to the speakers. Mute the TV speakers.
  16. My M-Audio BX5 D2 monitor speakers came in today. Time to go and listen to all my music all over again.
  17. Nice pic. Where is this place? Is it down the river, south of the London Eye and so on. Is it near Vauxhall? I remember going for a press event to a place that looks just like that, when I visited London.
  18. Randi destroys everything hocus-pocus. Here's him at TED
  19. Happy New Year guys~
  20. Congrats Generalvivi!~
  21. Nice new change. I'm really liking it. Definitely will be visiting Mapcore much more often now. Would the guys prefer slightly different fonts for the section names, on the home page. Looks very Arial-y The Features page could use larger images, slightly smaller text. Makes you want to click on it! Everyone's busy I'm sure but I (and many others I'm sure) appreciate the effort. Thanks again!
  22. Really depends on what your usage is like. If you take 15 minutes to travel to work and are on your PC at all times, you can simply forget the need of having a smartphone. If you're travelling at least an hour a day, sure a 4.7-inch screen phone loaded with a tons of apps, everything from comic book readers to games to IRC clients is really what you need. You may not feel like you do, but use it and you start realizing that it's actually fun, also more convenient than a tablet or notebook. I spend close to 3-4hrs travelling everyday and I love my Galaxy Nexus.
  23. Built a rig for my cousin, put some of the parts from my aging rig in it (He's 10 and is just getting into computers) Returned back home and built the rest of my rig - Intel Core i5 3570K ASRock Z77 Pro4 8GB DDR3 G.Skill RipJawsX Cooler Master Hyper 212 Razer DeathAdder 3500+ Been playing BFBC2 and Max Payne 3. My old CPU was a major bottleneck for the Radeon HD6870. So nice to be gaming at maxed out settings again Also bought Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
  24. Bought the Google/Samsung Galaxy Nexus Very happy with it. It's running Jelly Bean, it's fast and gorgeous!
