Yup, nice to see them doing something somewhat fresh with the Ghost Recon series (though hopefully you won't have to climb mountain tops/radio towers to highlight points of interest on the map O_O)

Want! Love the new setting, guess there won't be any gameplay at this E3 tho?

Good stuff, but it doesn't really seem that surprising tho, I think most people expected them to announce Dishonored 2 this E3, It'll be more surprising if they show anything from the rumoured rewamped/rebooted Prey 2 project (apart from Fallout 4, Doom, Dishonored 2, ESO and....Battlecry)
Hmm really wanna stay up for Bethesda's conference, but if I want any chance of getting through an all nighter tomorrow that'd probably be a pretty dumb idea. Too bad tho, Bethesda's the one I'm most interested in by far~~

Yea this is going to completely rely on word-of-mouth and trying it out yourself in a store or at your friend's place. In the case you mentioned, personally, I have a bigger problem getting excited about VR in games that are not first-person.
Exactly. Two of the three titles they showed off were third person, unless there's some clever twist on it them I'd say that's not exactly the best way to sell and communicate the best sides of VR early on, but maybe it's an antiquated point of view that VR has to be in first person, I donno.

Cool, but man they have the (obvious) problem of making VR seem really hot and really selling it when you're watching something like this in 2D. I know the something like the EVE Valkyrie demo is probably absolutely incredible in VR, but it just falls a bit flat in a presentation like this.
Anyway, I'm ready for dis shit. Probably gonna end up being an "early" adopter and get 1st gen one, just to fuck around with it in UE

That's why when I go to movies, I avoid going too early, specifically to avoid watching trailers. If I have to go early to save a seat, I typically either look away or walk out when they play a trailer for a movie I know I already want to watch.
Yup, I'd love to be able to avoid trailers entirely, but in a lot of cases then it is kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, since you might not know that you might actually want to see a movie by avoiding the marketing entirely.

Looks dope~~does kinda suck that most trailers these days have to basically tell the entire story of the movie, but oh well, lols

Been playing Splatoon for a few hours and holy crap this game rocks! Really satisfying to run around get everything painted and try to keep the opposing team balanced out, with the close calls (as in nearly 50/50 of the top down map being both colours) with incredibly exciting end of match score counts. The motion control aiming didn't really do it for me tho, though I appreciate the idea

But of course Nintendo nails shooters, tho it's not really the shooter part that's so great about it

40 hours in and finally went to Novigrad, still extremely impressed by it, love the amount of depth that pretty much all of the side quests have, some really impressive story telling to be found there. Also quite liking the combat, happy that I went with the next hardest difficulty~~
