Hmmm, I would be way more excited about this if everybody just had the grapple hook and they made the levels crazy vertical and open, kinda Bionic Commando remake meets an arena shooter.

More like Day -5 Edition Not jelly at all ;_;

Inoxx (Cedric Fiorentino) made Facing Worlds. Cliff made Tempest and Turbine, some of my favorite UT99 maps, so I definitely have respect for him as a level designer (granted that's a looong time ago). Though the Gears games feel really old and stale now, then they pretty damn impressive on multiple fronts when they came out. For what it's worth then it's still the tightest cover based games, and they had a genuinely unique feel to them, with it being a very clear case of a game where gameplay was king. Anyway, hope this turns out well, but man that trailer isn't exactly making me excited.

I have a lot of respect for Cliff Bleszinski as a game designer and I'm sure that the actual gameplay in this thing will be great, but holy crap that trailer was terrible.

pls b sep 1 nau ;_; I did actually consider watching the 3-4 hour long Peace Walker "movie", since I never played that and supposedly it'll probably leave quite a lot of the plot of Phantom Pain seem even more confusing.

Horizon Chase: The classic racing genre is back in full shape.

Looks cool! I just downloaded it, gonna check it out later~~grats on the release -
I actually really want play this, but I think they're making a huge mistake by releasing in Q4, way too many new games coming out then :G Would've been perfect for an early August release

Was okay, but very disappointing compared to season 1. I appreciate that they tried to do something very different with the 2nd season, and that just trying to replicate/continue season 1 wouldn't work, but it just felt like plain crime show with great production values, where as the 1st season felt like it really brought something new to the table and really set your mind racing in interesting directions. I also feel that in season 2 it was definitely strongest when they focused on the plot rather than the characters stories, especially because to me it feels like .

The scope of this game is fucking nuts, can't wait!

There's AI buddies, don't think there's co-op. Also, GOTY.

Yup, the first Mafia is a classic, Mafia II had moments where it was pretty good, but overall it just felt like an empty world with soulless characters and mechanics that (as far as I remember) felt like they were from a 5 older game at the time. Interested in seeing what's up with this new one, supposedly it's been in a bit of development hell (2K Czech being pretty much booted off the project, supposedly), but I hope they've got something good on their hands, I'm a sucker for these period based games.

Finally got around to trying it out, first match and I scored this goal (pretty happy with that :D) Game rocks, love how silly the entire thing is

Yeah, seems like he had a lot of health related issues the last couple of years and didn't attend E3, but I had no idea that it was this bad. Sad

Just pledged as well, good luck man~

Extended E3 demo, the new stuff starts around 07:15, looking fucking incredible~~

45 minute gameplay video, looks like it's getting better and better~~it does seem like a shame that you can't crouch tho ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N26erPdueXU&feature=youtu.be&t=15m5s endless mode starts here)

Love it! Can't wait to see it at 100%~~

Worked on this a long while back, looks good, me and a couple of others were early out and championing a fashion show level so it's cool to see it there. Still very interested in seeing how the entire release plan will work out. Paying $60 upfront and then not getting a full game straight away isn't necessarily a bad thing, but then they better be able to dish out fresh content in a fairly steady pace, I hope IO can pull it off.

Totally. It's like that Castlevania remake (or whatever it was) Kickstarter a month or so back that was also used as a way of gauging the public interest, with investors ready if they got funded. It might be totally legit to do it this way in the Kickstarter guidelines, but it really puts Kickstarter projects in a bad light when they ask for funding that obviously don't make out the entire budget and therefore skew the public's perception of how much it actually costs to produce games, the loser here being small indie games that actually have to rely solely on the funding they get through the Kickstarter.
