  1. I guess that explains why they didn't send out early review copies . From what I've seen and read so far it also sounds like the core mechanics and feel of it is pretty rough, really too bad since I quite like the period and setting.

Really like the idea and everything else as well!  I'm excited.

Good job Mazy & the rest of Ultra Ultra!

Btw. how many are there on the team?

Thanks! The core team is 8 people, however we also have a composer and freelance audio engineer.

  3. Thanks guys!

It was an incredibly cool experience showing the game off at PAX West, one of the best times of my career in games. Nearly everyone was super impressed by it (and even more so after trying it out in most cases). Lots of great press as well (KotakuGamesRadar and Killscreen). Also kinda crazy that we get 124.000 views on the Gameplay trailer on Youtube in 1 week, where it took 6 months to get around 30.000 views on the first trailer, and people like CliffyB tweeting about it.

Pretty awesome to be back with even more motivation to finish it up!

  4. Heyas, wanted to hear if anyone here was going to PAX West this year? I'm going and we'll be showcasing our game (ECHO) at the Indie Mega Booth. Still not entirely sure how the evenings for the week will pan out, but it could be really cool to meet up with some Core folks if anyone's going :) Otherwise anyone here is very welcome to come by our stand and try out the game ;)

  5. More like inventory is full simulator :v It's fine, but already after 2-3 hours yesterday I feel like I've had my fill, but it might also be a thing that you kinda need to be in a particular mood for.

The part where you're speeding towards a new planet and enter it's atmosphere is pretty amazing, it's just all the other stuff you do that loses it's charm very quickly for me. Gonna give some more time to see if it throws some surprises into the mix.

It's also going to be interesting to see how they support the game in the coming time, almost more than anything it felt like any of the countless early access survival/crafting games on Steam.

  6. I might actually buy an NX just to get a better framerate :v

This is definitely the Zelda game I've been the most hyped for since Wind Waker, they basically turned it into a lighthearted FarCry game, I love it! :D

  7. I know they get a lot of shit for making interactive experiences that people barely consider games, but I really appreciate there's developers like Quantic Dream and the Until Dawn guys doing these types of games, even if it still feels like they peaked with Heavy Rain.

Also great they've moved on to native english speaking actors :v
