I'm gonna simplify the math FAR too much here. But who bitches when they spend 20 bucks for a 2 hour movie? That's why special features on dvd's came about. To entice the consumer into giving up his money for 2 hours of something he's probably already seen is tough. So you tack on another hour of behind the scenes junk and hope he cares. 50 dollars for ten hours really isn't that far off. But for the consumer who doesn't believe in that he can always just rent it. I don't think anyone is really allowed to complain about something being too short after they've paid for it. Especially in the case of a game like Halo 2 where there is a massive mp portion that is impossible to quantify into a chronological value (I stated that weird... you can't say how much the mp is worth because you can't really associate a time with it.)

We have no shortage of people that rule with c17 architecture in hl2. You do however have to convince people to join. Your opening sounded intriguing, had you followed that up with screenshots of new character models and some neat new techy and industrial props to play with you'd probably have gotten some nibbles. I don't quite think you have enough stuff to really attract super awesome talent. Prove me wrong at your leisure.

I thought the movie was highly watchable and VERY relevant (which was obviously the point.) The point at which the priest inside of Jerusalem (during the final attack) turns to Bloom and tells him that all poor people outside should die so that they can live, citing "it is God's will" was both heartbreaking and amazingly true of today's American ideals. There was much social relevance and some very subtle messages to the movie. Instead of explaining why muslims aren't evil bastards the movie simply chose to show them as humans who make human decisions and mistakes. You could have done the narrative from the opposite perspective and the movie would have changed very little. Also Edward Norton is in it as a King Leper who wears a SILVER MASK. That's my ten bucks right there.

Don't even bother posting unsubstantiated bullshit like this on the forums. Seriously. You're so incredibly wrong it makes me ill. Gearbox pays well, really well. So here's what I think it is.... The game takes place in Alaska where the sun is out for many many many days in a row. The game will take place over the course of like a week or something... the point is the character will not sleep. He will start to go crazy (or think he is) and crazy shit will happen. Hence Alan Wake. or A. Wake (this is all wild speculation)

i like the new one however, just give up on the borders. It's striking when its just simple and elegant. The borders are meaningless noise. Also SO glad the haiku was gone. I literally would have passed you up in the hiring process if I'd have seen that.
