Couldn't see an obvious thread for this.

So, as many here know I've recently decided to make life as complicated as possible by simultaneously moving home, getting a new job, and breaking up with my 3.5-year girlfriend.

Right now things are going pretty well, all moved into my new flat. No internet access until next week, so basically my only source of entertainment has been my PS3's wonderful world of Blu-ray, DVD, and games. Even my 3G mobile internet ran out so I'm currently in Subway writing this.

Except now my PS3 has just died as I'm about four missions away from completing GTA5 — looks permanent. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!

I’m not sure i trust this, I’m clinching to see a crazy turn of events at some point. Feels like the setup for the Homefront game 🙈
(of course that won’t happen and hopefully all we end up well)
PS: peace nobel prize nomination for Trump is bonkers

Yeah, I think that all of North Korea's bravado to deter countries from messing with it until completion of nuclear weaponry distracted people from the fact that (along with some other factors) nukes have been very effective at keeping peace in the world between major powers. It's kind of obvious now that with North Korea's status as a nuclear power established they could join the rest of the world as a good nuclear citizen. If small countries like my own can do it then why not North Korea, really?
With that said, clearly I'm highly educated on the mechanics of nuclear proliferation and its inherent dangers, due to me being a Metal Gear Solid fan. However it does seem like it's effective at stopping the all-our wars that might otherwise erupt between militarily powerful countries. Of course, you're really playing with fire if you let every country do this hoping they'll all play by the rules.
Man, can't we just all play video games and be happy?

Hi guys, I don't know if you know this artist : Simon Stålenhag (but I'm sure you know him).

He just released his third kickstarter :
As I already said, I'm a big fan of what he's doing, that's why I share that with you ! You'll find a lot of good inspiration there in his work

I hope I'll see a game based on his universe one day !

Some examples of what he's doing:

PS : I posted it here in the "2D" topic and not in the "off topic". Move it if it's necessary

For all the Hammer users who have been praying for an update, Wall Worm is happy to announce a new Advanced VMF Editor. Just some of the key features:
Classy black and white theme to increase readability in High Contrast Monitors. Familiar Hammer menus (some of which work as expected) Context-sensitive right-clicking to open assets directly in your Hex Editor of choice. Currently supports MDL and VTF. Tons more! Finding the cause of a bad brush never got easier.
