Just to update you all, I've been bouncing between the server hosts and the forum developers because it seems there's some weird DNS/networking issue preventing the chat from working — or rather, preventing the glorious MapCore server from communicating with the chat shit. If it carries on much longer I might just look into trying to implement Mibbit to connect to IRC instead.

Aah I see, sounds a bit complicated to me. Mibbit would be cool, especially if we could have additional tabs and join multiple channels!
