I'ts just that V seems to have the most bland single player campaign ever in a modern GTA game. Seriously, not interesting at all I horsed around a bit but there's only so much you can do there.

Well we all have our tastes, but I personally really disliked the GTA4 single-player campaign whereas I'm enjoying the shit out of GTA5's. For me, Niko's story was just the same tired old 'rags to riches' bullshit and the gameplay wasn't refined enough to really stand as a good shooter, etc. This time the narrative is much more intertwined and varied, and the missions feel more unique (so far). Also the gameplay is much improved, clearly learnt from Max Payne 3.
