  1. I know that for you guys this is nothing, but for me as a beginner in 3dsmax it is something. Trying to renovate one of my older maps (de_island) i have learned how to make my first complex unwrap. Basically i made an arch using the same texture as the wall one as you can see in the picture.

  3. i've been working on modeling a Volkswagen Combi T1 The plan isn't to make it a 3D model for a game engine or something like that, it's a model to 3D print. The challenge isn't much on the polycount or any sort of material, it's to make sure that each piece can be printed, is solid enough, can be assembled with the right tolerances ... It's a project I started with some friends before Covid but stopped a year ago, i'm going back on it to finish it. It's a miniature RC car (about 30cm long), controllable with a Xbox One gamepad. The

  7. Friday evening we had a first play test. The game ended with a 15-15 score and overall good vibes. People said they had fun and liked the map, which was more then I could ever expect. Of course I also received feedback. One of the main problems with the map was that once T's took a site, it was very hard for CT's to retake. The cover on the sites wasn't really valuable, making T's push out the sites as soon as they planted the bomb. Since rotation was also a bit slow on this map, this caused firefights in unexpected spots and CT's feeling like they didn't stand a chance to retake (even th

  8. When I was learning SD, I was put off by how long the official videos are. So I recorded a crash course introduction, where I show only the main tools you need to know to make cool textures, and also the general method that I use for most textures, so you can go from zero to this in about an hour and half There's a lot more I can do to this texture to make it look much better, but I wanted to keep it simple and not overwhelm the user with too many different concepts:

    Vineyard - Danger Zone

    We started working on a new map for Danger Zone a while ago and it is now in a state where it is playable, yet far from being finished. The map is set in Tuscany, Italy and is a departure from the usual toned down visual style of Danger Zone map to something more vivid and vibrant. We will try to make it quite colorful and unique compared to all other Danger Zone maps. The team working on the map consists of Squink, Squidski, Hasselhoff, Seth, Slimek, Quoting and T-R3x3r.
