Hey guys. First thing I want to mention. It feels great to see wind on map. Most relaxing spawn I have ever seen in cs. Layout is really complicated. I have played 4-5 matches and still don't know every route and angle to check. For example on Anubis I just needed 1 match to understand layout and probably 2-3 to better checking angles. Here is general feedback. Ask if something isn't clear. More detailed feedback. This spot is op. I would suggest to change truck with boxes to something with basic shape and some clear angles to pick from. You have some places with that clipping. Try to avoid that, it's not good for feeling map. Some idea. Maybe move entry to this place? I didn't analize this too much, but with entry here, you could make some cover for TT in old shop area. For now A is too complicated. Like I said, after 4-5 matches I still don't know where I can expect CT's. Always I'm dying without seeing enemy. Maybe move bombsite closer to TT entry? Maybe at the top of rocks on the left? Oh, and you can stuck on this wooden thing. Also seeing rocks here is something unrealistic(?) and I feels weird to me. Maybe if you will add some damgae to the roof and dirst under them it could work. Map feels too big, but timings are fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Overall map is cool and graphics are amazing. You did great job boys!

    [CS GO] Pithead (WIP)

Welcome to Pithead. A wingman map set place at a small town around a goldmine in the mountains of Alaska. This is a collaboration with @Sick_TwinN. Below here you can find our moodboard and layout overview (the layout will change in the iterations). There is no workshop link yet.

A bomb defusal map set in an undisclosed location in Iceland. Unsettling evidence discovered by researchers will foil the terrorists plan for world domination. Unless they can blow it all up... The level is designed in a way that it is easy to learn but hard to master. It is compact but offers a lot of depth with clever use of effective elevation changes, boost spots, lines of sight and rigorously tested timings -- ultimately allowing players from both teams to look for encounters that suit their playstyle in a balanced and uniquely beautiful environment. Well, I know the competition ended for me a long time ago, but first of all, I wanna congratulate all the finalists, they did a great job with their map. Secondly, I'm here to announce that I'm gonna continue working on this map, since I feel like I can make it work. I was wrong when I said this was an ending for the map. But I'm gonna go back to an old save, when the map was very different, to the version, when the playtest happened. I'm not sure where to post progress, and I'm not sure if I will even post it anywhere, but I'm hoping I can revive this map. And for all the finalists, good luck, I'm looking forward to your maps!

Feedback: I really like your use of soundscapes. The waterfall is not realistically loud. Would be inappropriate for a competitive multiplayer fps map. Ok, the console shows me the soundfile is missing. Don't make them too loud please. Also the interior areas have not those constant annoying sounds you find on other maps. You delivered a high quality map. Great work! A few more minor stuff:

@Sick_TwinN made some additions to the layout. I added an underground part but you cannot see it on the radar that clearly. We will probably release a test version in a few weeks.

1:21-1:30 is a bug with the radar. Other from these bugs this map looks very good.

I ran through graveyard and it is visually pleasing. The gameplay seems not made for competitive play but for casual just for fun 5v5. The contest is not about creating the best competitive map but to create an original map. About the polish, besides a few minor things I did not noticed any drastical bugs or things that could not easily fixed. It was just a quick run through but it should have a good score. Enough to be in the top 10 11? I don't know. But what I know is that we have not one but three judges. This should make it save to decide which maps are valid for the top 10. I guess if you would replace those three judges the ratings would not vary much. In theory it should not vary much as long as the judges take their duty serious. This time they will publish the ratings so this should be given. Besided that, beeing a judge is not an easy task. Especially for a mapping contest. It is almost impossible to give every map the score it deserves in such a short time. The ratingsystem had to be improved and it would need more people to test the maps for a longer period of time. We all could see the rating system, the number of judges and the judging period. By participating we all agreed to this. Instead of complaining about the score you should be thankfull for the effort and time they spend to make this contest possible. So, thank you FMPONE, Puddy and TopHattWaffle for your efforts!

Welcome to the outskirts of Louisiana! A bomb defusal map set in a swamp where the wood industry once glowed with enthusiasm and joy but then was forgotten by man. The sound of machines and humans silenced just as quickly as the water rose, the greenery grew and the animals took over. However, passing boats have recently heard the sound of man again and large shipments of goods appear to be coming to the old sawmill. Housing near the swamp has been in contact with the police... what looked like a routine mission became a struggle to survive, they were not equipped and ready for a fight against terrorists and the forces of nature.
