My last playtest was very productive! It opened my mind about so many areas of the map and I would love to work on them right now, but I feel that time is running out really fast... Here in Brazil, we often use a motto that says: "The great is enemy of the good" and after thinking a lot about it, I decided to head my way detailing the map fixing these areas in one go.8 points

Makes me nostalgic... I also did my fair share of work in the food industry, from 14 to 20 years old to be exact... butcher, fast food cook, cashier, diver, boss boy, you name it! Nowadays one thing I like to say is this: 50% of the skillset you need for your dream job is common to any job. So you can always work on fundamental skills like teamwork, social, discipline, professionalism, etc. and master those while you're on your way to your dream job ? Fellow mappers, today shal me marked in history. The day I finally create a prop and.... more importantly successfully get it in game. Haha ... this took so much effort... I made a extreme amount of mistakes along the way... but finally made it... below is the monstrosity haha I haven’t textured it or baked it’s uv yet.. just a random image. .... looks like I’ll have some killer props to come!2 points

So a couple of days ago, I worked my first day. It's quite nice actually. But I'm really gonna have to get used to standing all that time. But aside from that, it's quite simple. I'm sure I'll get used to it! And besides, the pay is actually above average for the position! So that's a plus Once again, thank you all for wishing me luck! Here is my entry for the contest. I got the idea when I scrolled trough the skybox textures and wondered where you would actually use "sky051" and then a zeppelin came to my mind. Now I have a map with placeholder textures and props and really strange lighting. So yesterday we released the PC version of Halo Reach on MCC, and looks like it's doing great!! It's one of my personal favorites in the series, brings so much memories of my college days where I was basically drunk 24/7 Played last night plus a couple times internally and I must say, the mouse & keyboard makes it feel like a whooole different thing... SWAT in particular is f*cking nuts The game is also supporting mods so I'm excited to see what crazy stuff people are gonna come up with! Did you guys play that one back in the day? (So Halo is part of the PC master race now how 'bout that eh??)1 point

looks like you could use some more env sprites and spot lights.... but im still somewhat new to mapping ? check out tophat waffles lighting tut or 3kliksphilip does one on the skybox as well. Looks like a fun concept! gl!1 point -
Alright, just finished the game a couple of days ago. The last 2 or so chapters are absolutely amazing, it all comes together really nicely! Great story, even if confusing at times with some really interesting delivering and there's no way you can't respect the moral of the story behind the game. I finished it clocking in 77 hours, although sometimes I would leave the game running playing music in your safe house while I cooked dinner or something, so it's not really an accurate measure, but I still think the game is a tad too long, although I might be the one to blame there since It's too easy to just keep accepting standard orders, (side quests) and then you have a gigantic list of shit to do, that becomes unmanageable real fast. You know, it's funny, I think I must have learned more about self-management with this game than I expected. The lesson is, don't bite more than you can chew, and finish what you started before keeping accepting more stuff, as tempting as it is. Do like, 2 things at once tops, a main quest item, then a standard quest IF it's on the way, you can always come back and so some more later. I wish I knew that going in, but if I did that the lesson wouldn't have hit me as hard... I still recommend this game to anyone, it's definitely a breath of fresh air in a sea of recycled ideas. btw:1 point

Good for you guys, this kind of work it’s useful, especially if you are interested in food/cooking. But in general, low level stuff builds confidence, life skills… and motivation to aspire do something else. it also keeps you humble and lets you appreciate people that do these jobs for you once you move on. Funny I also applied and was offered a position at deli/fishmonger counter once I worked as a cafe/bar waiter as my first summer job, summer postman to pay uni; when I moved here in the uk I ended up working four years in hospitality and catering, went from cleaning rooms and toilets and be a cook’s aid to manage the department. It was quite hard with the incredibly long hours and living on-site to get out of there but I managed to get at least back into web design (for now ?)1 point

Map Diary 2 Firstly I'm sorry about didn't share anything about map situation. Until November I was trying to developing the map. I got feedbacks about map's layout (Thank you for SE and Mapcore Discord feedbackers) and I fixed feedbacks issues. But lastly I decided redesign layout (reason: some areas optimization problem, timing and some area very advantageous for snipers).Last 2 week I redesign and fixed lots of new layout bugs. Layout Firstly I can share to you old and new layouts. In old layout T have a some vision advantege. Also CT timing to hostage is not well. (Min Arrive time:22 sec. Max. Arrive time:32 sec.) New layout is better than old layout about optimization, timing, balance. (Min arrive time:18 sec Max arrive time: 27 sec.) Screenshots Here some screenshots about Cappadocia. I am very hard working to making sunrise lighting hopefully you will like it. Some models and textures is not ready. therefore i used Dev textures and referance Valve models.Also I didn't start to make detail some rooms so you can see some area empty. I will publish 1 or 2 weeks later this map on Workshop. Until this time I will fixing other bugs and making priority custom models.
