    [CS:GO] Golden

    A new big update is now up on the workshop! I've reworked all of the lighting and made alot of gameplay changes to the map. The gameplay changes included a reworked T-spawn from scratch, a new metro area, a rework of the church, a new A-site and alot of other major stuff. I also added a new connector area from B setup to mid. Please have a look and I appreciate all the feedback I can get!

  2. Hi everyone, This map is remake version of Half-Life Crossfire. Firstly I released this map in 2015 and I updated regularly. Now I changed whole map design and details but i protect map's main lines. The map's story goes through after the test chamber accident time. Map support Competitive, ,Casual, Wingman, Deathmatch and Custom game mod, Custom game mod is basic Half - Life Deathmatch mod without turret and HLDM weapons. Nuke button, lifts, secret room, etc. still have and improved. Only nuke button blocked Competitive, Casual, Wingman game mod. Here workshop page --> Crossfire Custom Deathmatch Gameplay Details Total game time limit is 20 minutes. All players default start weapon is Glock and Knife. Grenade carry limit is 5. Healthshot carry limit is 1. Friendly fire is on and all player is enemy. Weapon and grenade can't drop after die. All weapon and items on ground. Map have 4 resupply point. 2 resupply point on left CT Spawn 2 resupply point on right CT Spawn.   4. I still preparing new update to my Crossfire Remake map for CS:GO and i redesigned inside of bunker, improved models textures quality, made new custom textures and re-adjusted Wingman and Custom Deathmatch mod.

I'm trying to make danger zone map. I want to show you some my work! My idea is tropical style, I haven't seen similar style in CS:GO yet. On the map you will be able to explore a lot of regions: beaches, tropical villages, bamboo platform, cliffs, and planning also some caves and more! I realize, that there probably will be a lot of bugs, because It's very hard to make huge danger zone map without bugs, so I'm really looking for testers, if someone is interested in, just invite me on steam. Models and textures some are self-made, and some I Have bought on sites with models Here's some screenshots from some map regions PS: I don't know if Valve support this mode already, but I love making open worlds! and I wanted to try myself.

    [CS:GO] Golden

    Golden is a 5 vs 5 competitive defusal map. I've been working on it since mid 2017 but with a 8 month break until August 2018 when I decided to pick it up again. The goal was initially to compete in the 2017 mapcore competition but I underestimated the time and effort it took to finish the project. The map is inspired by the older parts of Stockholm, Sweden. An unknown terrorist cell has executed an attack in the heart of the city. Their objective is to create chaos in the normally modest and safe capital. The Counter Terrorist unit called GIGN from France has reinforced the district since the national police force is inadequate and is struggling to handle the situation.   7. Hey guys, so after my last map I spoke with someone who encouraged me to make a current competitive map (de_cache) pretty. It felt like a good fun, brief project to work on after two pretty strenuous original maps which had their own set of balance needs and weeks-long adjustment period. This one we know is fun, and I could just have some fun making it look nice. The creator Volcano is one of the most famous CS players in history~~ (his kdr>yours lol) and he's cool and totally supportive. Only problem now is I need like 2-3 custom models and textures to replace some of the placeholders I'm using, but the idea of adding a third person to such a project is not ideal. This shows me a place I definitely need to grow as an artist, unfortunately I'm a bit overloaded with projects to learn to model or texture, but the need is now pretty glaring, I should be able to handle something like this on my own... still, I may attempt to make the textures we need, learning to model would take too long for this one project.   8. Looks really awesome. I just think the big yellow nuke prop (crane) on the 2nd and 3rd screenshot is out of place and taking in too much space, better get rid of it. I guess empty space can be a good thing and creates some more calmness, the scene there looks busy enough already. Not sure if the CS:GO competetive mode would really workout based on the overview, but it sure looks fun for the HL and DM mode!

    If you can, pick this up now! FromSoftware is one of the few studios out there making video games with no bullshit smeared all over it, it's worth supporting this kind of creations man!

    Yeah it's honestly not too much like Dark Souls.. It seems to be much more boss/mini-boss oriented. Obviously DS/BB had big boss fights, but nowhere near the amount and density that Sekiro has. It's really good fun. I think the combat is better tbh, it's more about parrying than dodging/blocking.

    So I have been working constantly on this map, organising many competetive playtests itterating the layout untill this point. The testers really enjoyed playing this and I am happy myself with the layout as it is. I decided to leave it for what it is and find a Envrioment Artist to roll up his sleeves and make something beautifull out of this. However any gameplay related feedback is still welcome ofcourse!     It does help players learn the map but if you have a map that has a lot of tight angles and indoor sections, your chokepoints are all doomed to be L-shaped. I'm not sure if my map is like that yet but if it does I will want to fix it.

  24. Readability was a huge issue, and also it wasn't easy to get good results with that look everywhere, while it looked nice in some screenshots, it looked quite awful in others. The look didn't have as much legs as a theme in other words, the theme I went with carried over throughout the whole map much better

  29. I am beginning to think FMPONE is not one guy, but a group of mappers toiling away in a lab to bring us great looking levels every few months. Seriously great output! Regarding the modelling stuff. I am not sure the map really needs much more in that department. It has a clean and tidy, yet detailed look all round, while crucially, preserving the layout. Very closely it seems too. I am sure an artist could help with a lot of things like 3d sky meshes perhaps, and some other bits, but it is not a map that I look at and say, "needs more meshes". To me, it looks like you have done what should be done. Took a clan map that was quite basic visually, and turned it into something impressive. All while maintaining all the key components required for competitive play. I also like how a couple of the screens come across as bravely minimalistic - similar to a lot of professional maps, which avoid clutter and over the top detail in places that see a lot of combat.

  30. I'm starting to like soft lighting from Soure Engine but the interiors look the same bright as the outdoors. I know it's multiplayer and visibility is very important but a bit darker indoors would be awesome. Would be? Still it's amazing job, good luck with the release! EDIT: Oh, and the plants under the ceiling are a bit "no way" to me. If there's such a big plant there should be more light/hole to provide water/ground somewhere there. See:
