    Quick update, managed to get a decent atmosphere going, definitely need to do a second pass on the trees & river once the skybox is sorted! Planning on having a cliff edge to the right, along with a large mountain range off in the distance!

    [CS:GO] De_Roswell (WIP)

    Hey everyone, amateur level designer here. Been piecing together a defusal map after learning the ropes of CS:GO's meta (at least to a rudimentary level) and its level editor tools thanks to TopHATTWaffle YouTube tutorials. I've been lurking on the MapCore discord for too long so I'm keen to try a constructive playtest soon.     Hello everyone, My name is DutchCrazyGamer and i recently started with mapping. I really enjoy it but for my last map i did not get that much feedback from experienced mappers so when it got reviewed i saw all sort of things that could be better (it was made for the mapcore 2018 wingman contest). That is why i came here for feedback so i can improve my mapping skills.     Totally out of the blue release (Zampella teased something at the Game Awards but who knew). I only saw some ravenous tweets about the announcement and today of the game itself, I'm down to try it, hopefully runs well on my machine (haven't played Titanfall 1/2). I'm not super excited at the idea of the heroes despite that's the differentiator, I was always interested in Titanfall because of the free-running movement… I like more the idea of a level playing field. In case you wonder where to get it: playapex.com I'll repost the trailers since the embed didn't work on topic start - the second really explains all you need to know; the stream is a farse, starts like 4hrs in and they only show the trailers and a featurette with dev comments about the game.

    Cool idea. But instead of a hole in the floor I would go for something like in the picture below (not the best reference though). Make a catwalk following the outside wall and the wall with the paintings (edited picture above), this way the walls where grenades are most likely to hit will be clean and free and it eliminate the chance of grenades getting stuck on the upper floor. I think it also makes more sense thematically

    Qued for a few matches on Abbey and Zoo since they are now available in comp, and noticed that the wait time for Abbey was literally shorter than Dust 2! Congrats @Lizard and @Thewhaleman, you have dethroned the king of all CSGO maps.

    First thing I noticed is the lighting seems very dark. I'd recommend this website for the right light_environment settings. The layout itself looks a little uninspired, based purely on the screenshots. I'll try to give more in depth feedback after I played the map. Good start though

    Hello guys Well I wanted to wait a bit longer to have more to show but as it's progressing very slowly, here are some shots from almost finished areas. I spent last month to update the art with better texture work and detail, and also optimisation (if combine props works...) hope you will like it.
