  3. I started with making concept art in photoshop. I hope to get at a descent level of quality someday. And soon I will start making textures as well. Making textures is a bit more important for me. But making concept art feels less as work which is nice. I also think it's good for photoshop practice. For who's interested. A few tips. Get a wacom tablet if you can afford one. This is not only because you can add strokes more natural but they have pressure control. So the harder you press, the less opacity for example. Second tip, get custom brushes. They help so much. Ok here it comes. O yeah

    We do have that now, the anti-spam measures seem to be 100% effective, it's just that they stopped working for a day a little while back and the fuckers flooded in. That seems pretty sensible blackdog, I was going to do something similar but filter down to users with no posts registered around then. I've been very ill over Christmas and not on my computer (using iPad) so I'll sort it out when I feel better. Fortunately the number of bots has become minuscule now.

    Far Cry 4

    Far Cry 4 isn't a game you should turn to if you want all the twists and turns to make sense. It's a sandbox of crazyness and fun. Why are there military transports in friendly territory? Cause it's fun to blow 'em up is pretty much the answer. If you were allowed to, the player could've single-handedly killed the entire Pagan Min army. But there's some things I gotta agree with though, like the frequency of Karma events. It happens a bit too often. I just finished the main campaign and I have some criticisms too. For me, I was disappointed that the weapons and enemies weren't balance

Finally got hold of this one four years after release, I was put off by it when it was originally shown due to the some of the cliches I was seeing and a lot of funky coloured lighting which didn't really fit the setting for me. Since several people at the Core worked for Raven back in the day, I saw an art dump about a year later and liked the amount of detail that was put into it like the propaganda posters and general environment work but I still didn't get it then and largely forgot about it for several years.     God, is Eastern Europe just comprised of spammers or something? Jesus. Seriously though, the spammers we're seeing are still ones who signed up during that day or so when the defences were down — I guess that they have a delayed activation thing to try to avoid detection. The amount has definitely lessened but I'll try to do some cleanup by identifying 'sleeper' bots and banning them.

  11. hey guys, since i discovered this good looking community thanks to Q3A mapping contest i think i stay here got bored so i started making L4D2 campaign - again, i did something for L4D1 years ago but lost interest. i would like to ask you guys for some advice on this, i want to have some reasonable polycount, but i need more detail around one side river ( want to make secondary natural path trough river under that bridge and subdivision 2 isnt enough ) and along road. tried modeling some details to see how it will look. how is it bad with t-junctions in source? i saw some different sub

I'm sure I'll do a load more in 2015, but I am thinking about actually making a bigger project rather than all these game jam plops. They're fun, though.   15. I didn't get crazy presents but food and money. But something crazy happened on that Christmas night: all my family played my last game Ultraflow, and especially my grandparents. It was their first video game. They saw their grandchildren play a few time but they had never played before that night. They have even never understood what I was doing in my studies.
