Can you name your xbox? Or reprogram voice commands? I don't want to say "xbox" cos that might come up when someone is sitting next to you (or the problem stated in the article above). I'd rather use something like... VCR - play game. Or something4 points

My god is that trailer grey, but I am delighted to see Crytek doing something that isn't sci-fi or based around jungles, and a time period I enjoy too. Something totally different, a far cry from their past work you might say. I have to say though, that trailer totally reinforces how retarded Kinect is to me. I don't have fucking room to do any of that, and if I did I'd end up kicking my TV through the wall. Not to mention I'd get tired and pissed off within minutes. The fact that Microsoft seriously sees this as the future of games shows that they're still stuck in 2007. Literally nobody wants that shit.3 points

There's not really anything in that teaser that's exciting on it's own, but I trust Remedy~~great to see them making a new game, was a bit scared that their gig was up after Alan Wake kinda under performed.2 points

XBONE: NEXT GEN DOG TECHNOLOGY!1 point -
I'm definitely underwhelmed. KZ3 looked like a decent start for a new generation to me, but in the Ghosts trailer alone I saw a lot of flat-looking surfaces, clipped sprites, uninspiring lighting, etc. it's far from ugly, but I was expecting more polish considering the blank cheque budget it surely has. It's just an assembly line at this point. I doub anyone over there cares what it looks like when they know they'll have six more just like it already in the pipeline.1 point

Then spread the word about it! P.S. 3171 point

Oh man, you can see it coming already. To watch a film you must both be connected to the internet and have your Kinect detecting at least one person (so it knows you're not tricking it), and if it detects too many people it assumes you're broadcasting publicly and cuts you off. Disgusting.1 point

I think you touched on the main problem I have there. I personally thought the content in Battlefield 3 upon release was meagre at best. I was a huge fan of BF2 and BF2142 and enjoyed most of the maps, but in BF3 it felt like many of them were designed for more CoD-based fans and there were only a few in the core game I felt were truly Battlefield maps. I'm kind of expecting the same to happen again: a paltry selection of maps, at least half of which are designed for this new generation of FPS gamers (ie: small and not very open). Not that I'm saying both sides shouldn't be catered for, but when the amount of content for each becomes so small it makes it very hard to stomach being stung for a few extra maps unless I preorder. With the Karkand maps included I'd say that BF3 just about felt like decent value for money, but the core game certainly didn't. I never got any of the DLC because by that point I'd decided that I'd spent enough on that game.1 point

Indeed, they haven't even shown or talked about the MP yet, which I strongly assume is what these maps are for. At least I think I remember them announcing Back to Karkand after they'd started showing the BF3 MP. Anyway, I am happy that it's back to a Chinese setting ala BF2, so tired of the generic middle eastern locations~1 point

Hmm, I kind of want them to just move on from Alan Wake. I enjoyed it but it doesn't seem like the kind of story or franchise that needs sequels. Sometimes stories are better as one-offs, and I'd rather see Remedy focus their attention on fresh IP.1 point

Whoever decided to have the countdown in Roman Numerals is an idiot. Can't wait to see the game in errrrrr, XIX days, V hours and XIVII minutes! The only reason I can't count that high is because Final Fantasy is only up to number 14. My mate works on this though and he said it's looking great so far. Looking forward to seeing how Crytek do with a non-Crysis game1 point

You mentioned yourself Derek Yu made spelunky in Gamemaker. Have you considered it? I haven't used either (I roll my own usually) but the one thing Gamemaker has over construct 2 is there have been a lot of awesome games made with it.1 point
