Had something I started before, it's early on and lacks a ton of stuff (as you can probably see ). It's an interior area of the same scene that I was working on before. I plan to create a kinda natural transition from the outside part to this more lab like section of it by using a tunnel system with different airlocks and stuff. (decals where quickly faked in here... will make something proper soon ) This room will have some labs on the left side and the main room contains some air generation (will add some huge fans attached to the elevator shafts) as well as some props and probably some kind of extension of the walkway to get out to the middle at a higher level, just playing around with it at this point really. Gonna get some more greenery in there too, perhaps some hanging plants that an extension area can lead to. Also want to add some smaller things like a watering system and some big displays or something.

Is it good, dux? Right now I'm playing Kingpin, there is a campaign called Night Work at the Factory that was released a couple of months ago but I only saw that today, and I forgot how thick Kingpin's atmosphere is.

I've been detailing this little spot for a new CS:GO map, and I really like how it's turned out. Instancing buildings and putting rotation on them really improves the look of it.

    SimCity V

If only it was just Origin, you also have to log into the SimCity servers to actually play. Those are totally gonna able to take the pressure when it launches

i played kingpin on 200X... i was very cool at time! love the architecture, and weapons. I think is a little hard on beginning, but nice when you are able to buy weapons and mods. That shop reminds me killing floor merchant

    What are you playing now?

Yeah, SoF was great, I still have good memories... the localised damage was a blast (and was never replicated ) I've installed it thursday on my Xbox and racked up 16hrs in 4 sessions of play... and I've only just completed the first CIA agent mission. (I'm assuming there's still a long way to go.) I agree with all the things you wrote, except I had to turn off the music because for the first time in my life I see a game that has not separate volumes for music and effects At the point I am right now in the story, can't say much about characters, I think Vaas had(?) the potential to be "character of the year" but a sandbox gameplay hurts narration and the performance gets lost. Oh, and the notification pop-ups have driven me crazy for too many hours, really too intrusive, everything you do/find pops up something. Annoying to say the least.

Grabbed Mark of the Ninja on Steam weekend deal. It's awesome! Nice 2D graphics with fluid animations. I strongly recommend it for anyone who likes stealth games. Time to continue playing...

    The worst game mechanics?

I don't know why this hasn't been mentioned, but; level and item scaling. especially item scaling (leveled items) bothered me in skyrim. it robbed me off any desire to explore the world because the loot was so easy to predict based on my level. it's ok to some degree to keep the player from breaking the balance of the game, but they've been far too strict with this in every TES since morrowind IMO. What I enjoyed about Morrowind was stocking up with potions, spells etc. and just pick a random place on the map I would go explore. If it was far beyond my level I would just use every trick and spell I could think of to fight through it. I would usually get rewarded with something that made it all worth it. If I do the same in Skyrim I'm usually rewarded with a shitty garnet, some iron boots and nonsensical-enchanted shit-throwing staff.

    Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

It's pretty amazing how fast they pump these games out but the quality remains so high. Anyway here's a leaked trailer link: https://cdn.anonfiles.com/1362245692264.mp4

    The worst game mechanics?

God yes, this! The amount of servers I've been "banned" from because I've been kicked from L4D games I've publically joined because one of the teams friends is coming on is unreal. At least make it so I can return to that server later, don't just assume I was kicked for being a douche. If the players just asked I'd happily leave or switch teams. -_-

    Thriko's photos

Not the most exciting subject matter (my apartment view), but had my first shot at long exposure tonight (cropped from this): Took some time to understand the practicalities of the technique, but think I've got a handle on it now so looking forward to trying for a more interesting photograph at some point with it. Here's one from the other night when the snow was disappearing, I grabbed it because I thought the colours were unusually beautiful. Nature's blorange — I didn't change the colours at all for this.
