      Proudly introducing FIRST DAY HOTFIX to you！！！ Our playtest is sheer fruitful, also thanks for your replies in Mapcore, de_Panlong is getting to a higher level In this update, you will find: 1.Serious bugs fixed, including postprocessing volume hitting grenades, stream upstairs pulling players' legs...(how weird my mistakes are) 2.Added the colour GREEN to the map, and I'll reveal that every season is going to take an area in this map, according to the Chinese philosophy. 3.Opened up the mid.(It will be bigger and bigger, so, NikiOo, I hope it may cause no more claustrophobic)

      de_testbench a work in progress...

      On Sunday I'll take you thru tournament strategy on the short A, long A ; Short B long B for each team and discuss weapon selection for each zone and attack zones. I'm way ahead of planning before I draw all this stuff. This is not a shoot'em up run around with no purpose map. Like real war you want 2 attack positions and a flank. This map has 2. I'm sure your thinking how the hell is he going to turn this into a tournament map. I'm just the dumb map maker thinking outside the box. Instead of buildings I'm using other things to achieve the same results. The advantage I have is the artistic options with a map like this. Also I have full use of the light engine in hammer 2! And bonus reflective textures. I will not be using game textures but will design my own. I am not using and environment light like a skybox, main light. There will be extensions like a dome arena with flood lights angled down. This will be 6 point lighting to control every shadow and item from ground up. My vision is to light base bright but as you pass eye level the eye candy will go to darker colors(which is fine because you cannot reach those areas....) I can place lights at certain angles to create contrast and fill light and main light for each item like the cpu cooler fins and fan blades, graphics card and it's passive cooler, and even the ram. The floors in main rotation zones will be glass with blue (crystal blue) led coming thru the floor for A and orange led for B. The bomb site and directions arrows will be custom. The 2 bomb sites will be surrounded by see thru glass that you cannot shoot thru and will be red LEDs inside floor facing up. Floor will surround cpu and CMOS battery. Heat spreaders will cap of each roof in rotation zones these zones will be expanded for more swing room; they will have LED lights. No ladders. I'll place noclips to prevent the bomb from being thrown where it should NOT. Around advanced geometry will be noclips to prevent hangups on pipes and details in walls. I'm going to continue on cpu tonight. Later I'll post more screenshots and walk thru video Sunday explaining stragity for each team. Every step has been timed for each team.

      The hidden reason came out.... That's all because of EVERYTHING(NOT''''PHYSICS DEBRIS) in spawnflag section of post_processing_volume. When it is enabled, every grenade (which is included by incredible EVERYTHING)will receive one time hit by postprocessing area, causing molotovs explode in no time. So guys, I just forgot to delete those weird explorations(cuz this is just my third map...and I'm always trying something new) and my curiosity awarded me with the very first joke in Mapcore Contest 2024. In a word, we'd better change no default settings.

      Thanks for your reply. I've noticed the midwater problem actually and I finally fixed it today, and I'm trying to widen the ceiling of the mid, too. Probably you will see these changes in the coming update on 4/26. I found those strange sounds of grenades, and you did remind me that they "hit" something. I'm doing my best to deal with it, but the situation doesn't get better (sad). It seems a ghost entity is walking together with the player... Also, your suggestions on crouch sections are really helpful, I'll reduce them.
