Do they really need to make a lot of profit on their own games to cover their development? I mean, they have steam as their cash cow, that's all the funding they need. That's how they're able to do all the crazy stuff that they do, right? Am i mistaken somehow. It does seem like they have a good business model though, TF2 hats and all that but even without that... wouldn't steam cover pretty much everything?
