Freelancing 3D Animator & 2D Artist - Exit Strategy Ent.

Hey mapcore,

we are looking for two freelancers who can help us delivering superb looking character animations and 2D assets for our game 'Pirates of New Horizons'.

General information:

We've got approximately 3 man months (which don't necessarily have to be connected) worth of work for each of these two positions. You can work off-site, independently and do not require constant guidance and monitoring. Needless to say you can speak English and communicate well over the web!

3D Animator

What are you going to work on?

- You are going to work exclusively on character animations.

What are the requirements?

- You've got a strong demo reel that demonstrates your skills.

- You have experience in working with Maya.

What else is a plus?

- You have experience in pre-rendering.

- You live in a European timezone (or live close to European timezones).

2D Artist

What are you going to work on?

- Mostly in-game 2D assets: textures, UI etc. but the ability to create quick sketchovers and proper concept art is a plus. The more diverse your 2D art skills are the better.

What are the requirements?

- You've got an excellent portfolio that speaks for itself.

What else is a plus?

- You live in a European timezone (or live close to European timezones).

About Exit Strategy Entertainment:

We are an independent game development studio based in Hamburg, Germany and 'Pirates of New Horizons' is our first title in production. The prototype to the game was awarded with the 'Rising Star' award by Unity and we receive funding by the Norwegian Film Institute.
